Which International Airlines Have the Best Food?

Americans complain about airplane food. I have found that most international flights to or from Asia tend to have much better food.

Some airlines with decent food in my experience (not always so recent):

Cathay Pacific
Japanese Airlines
Asiana Air
Korean Air
China Southern

I think Garuda had pretty decent food back when they were doing the longer flights, too.

What are your picks?

This is like asking which prisons give the best last meal before execution. Flying has become such a horrible experience that food is the least of the issues.

Alitalia has good food. That is Italy's airline. I haven't been on too many airlines.

International airlines don't prepare the food themselves. They use catering companies. One catering company might prepare food for ten different airlines.
