I believe it was done on purpose. If you take a good look at how everything was in the 90s and even the early 2000s they had a lot more positive commercials, you saw same race and opposite sex couples a lot more often. Now it's mostly interracial propaganda and same sex shit all over the media, female characters got uglier, and everything has some kind of agenda behind it. Sure back in the day sit comes still made the men in the shows look stupid and the women were often portrayed to be bossy and in control..Mercer wrote: ↑February 11th, 2023, 5:26 pm@WanderingProtagonist I was talking to someone and he mentioned something you did a few weeks ago. He thinks that the U.S. entertainment industry was purposely ruined by the elites, big corporations, etc. to keep people miserable and ruin any enjoyment they might have. He said that he doesn't know the reason why but he thinks this must be true. I told him about how the U.S. had the best entertainment in the world for decades and then all of a sudden in the 2010's it became woke garbage overnight. Is there some kind of sinister reason? How could literally all mainstream entertainment become woke, low IQ trash at the same time whether it's movies, videogames, music, etc.?
There were quite a few shows like this. But if you look at a lot of the movies that get made today, pay any attention to the cover art on posters, etc you can see for each new film that gets released it always have this "diversity" look to it. The entertainment industry is just trying to bring people down while making certain people feel guilty. That's why there's so much anti-white and anti-male type shit that gets made too, why so much media have a feminist agenda behind it or LBGTQ theme applied to it. The 1970s already tried to push a lot of feminist themed films onto the masses, but they weren't afraid to go with the idea that women are bimbos either.
There was just too much happiness and positive energy flowing through media in the 80s and 90s so it often overshadowed a lot of the negative themed material. The Elites and big corporations realized that if they could make everyone pissed off, bored, unhappy, and insecure about everything they could bring down their faith in a more positive outlook on life. Entertainment back then gave people that. Now they just don't want people being happy at all anymore and because society won't do anything to fix this problem, entertainment will remain stuck in this woke phase. A lot of commercials in the past showed people who were hopeful, people that were always overjoyed.
If you watch any of the commercials with kids in them from the 90s 99% of them the kids were full of excitement.
Television won't ever go back to the way it use to be and I've always hated streaming services.
