Women pitching fits

A lot of American women are known for throwing childish temper tantrums over incredibly petty nonsense because they aren't getting their way - yelling, slamming doors, etc. They remind me of toddlers.

Is that primarily an American thing, or do women act like that everywhere? What areas of the world have more emotionally stable, mature women, or are women nuts everywhere? LOL
