Why is it taboo to say Americans are not nice?

It seems like the only politically correct opinion is that "Americans are the most friendly people in the world" or the "most generous", or the "most hospitable".

Which of course is complete bullshit. If Americans are so friendly and generous, how come everyone in this country seems to blame the poor for their own problems? Why is there so much hatred against immigrants coming here for a better life? How come I can count the number of times a stranger has invited me into their home during my lifetime on my fingers?

Yes it's true Americans donate to charity a lot, but only because they can get tax write offs for it. And yes a lot of people volunteer, but by far the most common places people volunteer seem to be church (which has an agenda) and at animal shelters, where they can play with cute cats and dogs. If America really was the most generous and charitable nation, we wouldn't be OK with bombing others to smithereens and there wouldn't be a war on the poor that the public was OK with.

It is women who train men to be assholes. Men become unfriendly assholes because men do whatever it takes to get p***y.

USA is not the same everywhere. It depends where you are, it depends if your neighborhood fits you or not.
There are areas in USA, which are nothing but a slum full with criminals where I cannot recommend to walk through even by daylight, just drive on and never get out of your car. On the other side, there are many place which are friendly, perfectly safe with people you can trust and they trust you.
USA is somewhat the story about the right man at the right place at the right time.

USA is obsessed with adoption, and some US citizens give away all what they own, others one are totally greedy and will offer support only again tax deduction in return while others are living of benefits and food coupons. It is difficult to create a profile about people living in USA, people are totally different from each other.
