Why Memphis, TN should be your next Happier Abroad Destination

Post by kangarunner »

@Winston You're always texting me on whatsapp asking "Is TN a nice place to live where all the people are friendly and warm and slow-talking just like the old movies?" Well, I'm here to tell you that Memphis is indeed a great place to live. In fact, that's probably why you always hear Memphis being named on the news for all the best reasons (See #4 below). So @Winston, book your next trip to Memphis, TN and see reality as it really is just like you watched on those old movies showing the South and Southern belles and Southern gentlemen. Make sure and visit South Memphis. I hear that's the best part of Memphis (Hint, Hint, Hint #4 below).

You're gonna love Memphis, TN. Here's why:

1) Public transportation is very long to get anywhere so you'll love the hours of being on a bus seeing the sights of the city!

2) Lack of nature: No mountains, canyons, or beaches anywhere even remotely close to the city so you'll love what the city has to offer in terms of a grid of streets with loud traffic to walk down.

3) A lot of humidity. You'll love sweating as you walk outside and feeling the stickiness!

4) A lot of crime. Just check out this link from Numbeo and look at which city is at the TOP of the list!: https://www.numbeo.com/crime/country_re ... ted+States

5) Diversity: You'll love the ethnic and racial makeup of the city. Isn't diversity the gift that keeps on giving? As we all know, white people were never meant to build our own countries without some good ethnic people coming in and taking advantage of all the great things we build!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U ... tions#List

6) Elvis Presley! Isn't it great when the only thing good you can say about a city is associating its name with a legendary singer who died 48 years ago?

Let me say that again for emphasis: Isn't it great when the only thing good you can say about a city is a famous singer who was born there but died almost a half-century ago?
Oh you're from Memphis? Oh!!! Elvis!

Wait, Elvis died over 48 years ago.
7) Rich and Endearing History:

Memphis was a great place to buy slaves! Really, check it out here: The rise of Memphis as a center for cotton and the slave tradehttps://www.commercialappeal.com/story/ ... 195899007/
The rise of Memphis as a center for cotton and the slave trade

In the 1820s and 1830s, enslaved people from places such as Virginia, Maryland and East Tennessee were sold and forced to move to West Tennessee. By 1850, the region had the most slaves in the state.
Did you know that Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated in Memphis, TN? It's true.

Did you know that Nathan Bedford Forrest owned and operated a slave pen : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forrest%27s_jail

Well, I hope you're convinced now that Memphis, TN should be at the top of your list for visiting or living there! If you walk around the city in one of the few places that are walkable, (that would be 1 or 2), just look at how happy everyone is. People are lively and energetic and full of joy for this great city!

And don't forget the hometown football team, the Memphis Tigers. Fun fact: The tiger is an animal which is nowhere to be found natively in North America. Tigers are animals naturally found in Asia and India. The shithole city Memphis is too stupid to know that though.

Not sure about West TN, but East TN is heavily religious, and it reflects in the population to some extent. Local women seem a little less stuck up than other places. But to get those women you have to be a WASP churchgoer or at least fit into a WASP church. It's America, so it's generally difficult/impossible to meet young women, just like everywhere else in America.

Just like every other place in America. You could say the same thing about everywhere. The "United" States. There's nothing united at all about the country. That's so funny isn't it?

California is definitely united with Vermont right? The two states have a lot in common.
New York is definitely united with South Dakota right? The two states have a lot in common.

Another thing you'll love about Memphis is all the black people. If you love black people you'll love Memphis.

What's some other great things about America? Everyone is running around like a chicken with their head cut off.

Back to Memphis, there should be a GoFundMe for everyone to go to Memphis because of how great it is. https://www.gofundme.com/

Memphis! Memphis! Memphis!

Honky tonk Tennessee!!! How yall doin?

America is f***ed up. Yankees in the north. Country boys in the South. Texas is big, flat, and boring. Florida is crazy. California is full of lunatics.

Everyone in America just sits at home and looks at their phone or watches porn or dicks around. There's no women available.

If you're in the underclass in America your life is literally miserable. I've been to 12 countries. Trust me, many people around the world are much happier than the majority of people in America.

Honestly, no one is happy in America. Even wealthy people. Because the #1 highest value in America is money. And just like Morris Berman says, "more and more and more" money leads to emptiness. Because it's only money. So wealthy people only care about money and the whole system is about getting more power and pushing everyone else down.

I hate Phil Cobb from Germantown, TN. I hate all of you on this forum.

@Winston Why have you not responded to my post here on how wonderful Memphis. Tennessee is? There's many outstanding qualities of the city including humidity, majority black city population so that you can make many new black friends, ongoing dread for the future, living with no hope, boredom, watching youtube all day long to escape to another reality. Aren't those great things that you would love to do in Memphis, Tennessee?

Memphis! Memphis! Memphis!

GoFundMe for Winston to visit Memphis!
