What I've noticed about most guys on this site

This is not an offensive post, or an attack. I had a realization today when I was out doing errands. These are things I've noticed about the typical guys on this site; some characteristics they have:

rigid
(more) traditional
idealogues -this may go along with rigid; and perfectionist
usually above avg intelligence

Unable or unwilling to handle apparent inconsistencies

Let me explain. I am like this as well, but I realize I need to work on it, and I can. Most guys have problems realizing that not everything makes sense. In other words, women and men, and people in general, may act in different ways, put out a different persona (usually from media) - than what they actually are inside. We are expecting everyone to be the same, as they are on the inside. I realized today that it is largely because of this, that most of us miss or torpedo opportunities right in front of us. I think it has to do with definitely being from a more traditional rooting, and not letting go of it/that. I do think things were different back then.
This girl because she pulls up with angry girl music going, and has red hair and tattoos ...it doesn't mean that's how she is on inside. People just want to know you won't judge them - once they see this - that image goes away; and you get to the real person.

People on this site are so idealistic, or perfectionistic or whatever, that they are unwilling to do this.
I think most are unconscious of it - at this point, myself included.

It doesn't make sense, but it's just how the world is. I think that if we tried applying this in our real lives, we would have enormous success, here. You could still move to other places if you want a traditional paradigm.

Hee, hee, I am a programmer, and most (95%) of the people I meet IRL are not rational or er, just not smart.

Oh well, if you're on here and you're smart you just need to learn some people skills and you'll earn $$$$$ which will provide you with all kinds of opportunities.

People with high IQs are more likely to become bored and dissatisfied with their lives. They expect the world to make sense and expect other people to behave logically. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people on this site have high IQs. Winston has said his IQ is 120 means he's not a genius, but he's still in the top 10%.
