Video Extractors?

I have a program on my computer that rips DVDs and places the file onto the desktop. What I am looking for is a program that will extract the video (file) itself and convert it to MP4 so i can play it on my PSP. I tried it with the A Foreign Affair DVD, and I want to do my Star Trek (2009) DVD as well.

^^^That program takes too long to convert videos. Just download AnyVideoConverter.

The best program for ripping DVD's and images to .mp4 or .mkv is HandBrake http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php
It is open source so no trial-version bullshit with annoying spyware and pop-ups. And it's for Windows, Linux and Mac.

I use Format Factory. It's free and works great. It converts between many types of video and audio formats.

It worked perfectly! Now I am gonna do my Star Trek DVD since I have a digital version of the A Foreign Affair DVD.
