A tiny fraction of Americans have a passport (3.5%). Without this you can't travel overseas; well that's not quite true. You can in some cases leave the country without a passport but it will be on the ground, you can't leave America in the air without one. If you leave that way, it will be awful hard but not impossible to return and you will be banned from applying for a passport for set amount of time.

For some men around retirement age and with no family back in America, this might be an option, but then we run into problem number 2...

Traveling to just about anywhere round-trip, this is assuming you have a reason to return (job, family, etc) is about $1,000 -/+. The savings can be significant. For example, if you can pay say $700 for a R/T to Rio, you can pay one months rent in most cases with the savings. But it's this lack of preparation, forethought and planning that dooms men to staying right where they are.

C'mon Polya do you work for Immigration or the State Dept? Do yo know the reasons why women return home from K1 Visas after being married?

I can think of a couple of reasons, like men being untruthful about their economic position.

I know personally of a German women being duped by a White Man who is basically a loser from Maryland. She was desperate (hail mary pass) because as a German woman(in her late 30's) who loves Black men and has a mixed child (son) she was ostracized by White German men for dating Black men (African-Americans) and having their child.

To my knowledge she hasn't returned to Germany and is still here. But I have heard of women returning mostly because dude was a liar from the start.

Other reasons are abusive men, homesickness and general incompatibility. I suppose some women rinse men for money. This doesn't happen that often because you know good and well the Western media would run to daylight on something like that. They love to prove Mail Order Brides is folly.

At best the takeaway from what you're saying is be more selective with your choices as men travel for better options.
