well I have and besides the fake women on line there they also take your money automatically even if your not set for renewal I found out recently. Now I put in a complaint with PayPal and POF simultaneously , and a week later they have not responded to PayPal to give back the money they stole !

I think Manson Maan is referring to the upgrade options on POF. I believe that there are some extra features that can be able to be enabled if you pay for that option. However, you message and meet people without that option. @Manson Maan, I believe Paypal can refund you for the service.

POF is truly trash to put it mildly. I have met mainly overweight women who for most part want to be wined and dined. I had a few dates where I basically was liked (personality) but I had to pay for the dates (provider/beta). I feel that in today's world it should not matter. Most people looked as if I was being cheap (which I was since things are more expensive than in the past).

It is a bad site and I think that the best way is to do socials if you have time to do. I feel that unfortunately, I attract big women. I am not sure why but I feel if I do more socials locally it might change. Online dating sucks. I think that your best option if possible is to date in another country or better yet find a country you like, see if you can move there (as you like the culture/area) and then look for a decent women there.

US/UK/CA/AU/NZ are not ideal for long-term unless you want a casual relationship which is not hard I believe for most people on here. There are exceptions: A few years ago I had a f/k buddy who'd been in the army for 20 years and had retired, but still kept in great shape. She was 49, but had the body of a 35-year old (that is, what a 35-year old woman should look like if she takes care of herself).

South of the RG, the percentage of bangable 30-somethings and 40-somethings is much higher. Still nothing approaching a majority, but it's not the wasteland the US and Canada are.
