Medicinal Marijuana to be legalized in Philippines - Duterte
Duterte is making all right moves.
http://motioncars.inquirer.net/44321/ro ... rom-arroyo
Duterte said he would allow the burial of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at Libingan ng mga Bayani, grant pardon to detained former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, legalize medicinal marijuana, and approve a three-child policy using family planning methods frowned upon by the Catholic Church.
Duterte seemed to have reserved his harshest words for the Catholic Church and its bishops who, he said, were “doing many wrongs,” including “not correcting the abuses of priests,” so “maybe (people should) stop listening to them.”
For good measure, he declared that he was thinking of implementing a three-child policy as part of family planning and making available birth control methods, including the use of condoms, which the Catholic Church disapproves of.
A national population policy must be put in place because the country’s resources cannot meet the growing demands of the populace, Duterte said.

Most of his supporters want him to do for all of the Philippines what he did for Davao.

Subject the rest of the Philippines to Drug use and sexual amorality, and also Anti-Christian rhetoric for good ol' Socialist measure? Western Degeneracy fasttracking its way to the Philippines, that's what this is, endorsed apparently by the now-Socialist HA base.OutWest wrote:Vendri wrote:Yes, now Filipinos can have the Freedumb to manipulate the system and dope up all day + Move towards being hypersexualized like 'Muricans.

Do you know a thing about the Philippines and Davao in particular? Davao is the straightest and lowest crime big city in the Philippines . Apart from the medical use of pot, Duterte promises death for druggies.
Socialism in the Philippines would be a failure, like everywhere else.

Socialism would fail in the Philippines just as it fails everywhere.

Duterte is from a Socialist party, one which embraces:
Popular democracy (historical)
Federalism[2]
Democratic socialism
Left-wing populism
Socialism of the 21st century
And I have seen this site do Nothing but cheer this onward. Do they not know that Socialism is absolutely AWFUL and does NOT work due to its inherent eradicating of Social Cohesion?
Death for Druggies? Really? Medical Marijuana leads to Recreational, and Recreational leads to disaster. Why don't you ask the Swiss, the Chinese, and the Russians what THEY think about condoning Drug use? Legalizing Medical sounds to me that he is Pro-Marijuana and Pro-Drug. Socialistic garbage policy that always leads to disaster.

While I agree it would never work there, it's a conservative propagated myth that it always fails. Holland and the mostly socialist Nordic countries like Denmark and Sweden are not failures at all. Different sets of problems maybe but certainly not failed states, and people in those countries are generally happier than the great capitalist USA.OutWest wrote:Socialism in the Philippines would be a failure, like everywhere else.
In regards to The Punisher Duterte, don't know much about him but he seems better than most of their previous leaders.

They are demographic failures. All of them are in full scale demographic collapse and unless they alter their culture of hedonistic entitlement , they will not exist within a few generations.Mr Natural wrote:While I agree it would never work there, it's a conservative propagated myth that it always fails. Sweden, not a failure? I disagree, considering that hole is the most bleeding-heart for the criminal aspects of the third-world Muslim populations, that hole is showing Penis/vagina educational music videos to the children, that hole is Ultra-Feministic, that hole is desperately trying to vote up the Far-Right "Sweden Democrats" in response to the crushingly aggressive Socialist domination in the government...
And you sound like a Useful Idiot for Soros and his cronies who are pushing this Marijuana Legalization process not only in the U.S, but worldwide. Soros is so bad, except when it comes to that magical weed? YOU get a clue, bud.
Re: Medicinal Marijuana to be legalized in Philippines - Dut
He is not pro drugs as from what I have heard he is against the shabu (meth) epidemic in the Philippines which is highly degenerative.
I remember this bank got robbed, the robbers shot and killed a couple of bank tellers and seriously wounded the bank manager. They got caught and when they made bail they did not last for more than 10 minutes. The vigilante killed every one in the cab that picked them up, machine gunned.
Seen in the provinces the large family sizes, like 12 kids, and near absolute poverty. Lower family size would help a lot.
Legalizing weed, wow.

Really? I'm in Baguio and I could just start growing potted plants of pot in my home and smoke privately and I won't get in trouble? I thought Philippines was really harsh on weedanngrant wrote: ↑November 6th, 2018, 6:44 amNice:) That means Filipino can grow marijuana for their personal use. Unfortunately marijuana is illegal in the state I live, nevertheless I end up with a couple of plants on my balcony every year and have never been bothered by the police. Just wanna give a try to new gelato seeds ( https://www.ncsm.nl/strain/gelato ). Any reviews on them?

I saw different articles saying weed would be legalized. But you cannot trust the liberal press as they lie a lot. The big scourge is meth or shabu. And Duarte has declared full scale no mercy war on it. Applied Filipino law is not known for being nuanced or discriminating. Is there any local political advantage to being tolerant to weed in the Philippines? Many Filipinos think its worse than heroin. Copying the US is the only reason I can see. I would have my doubts about fully legal weed in the Philippines until proven conclusively otherwise.

No the Philippines congress has not passed on medical marijuana. Just as with divorce President Duterte said what he supported during campaign but despite his international reputation he is not a dictator whose word is law, he is not even a Marcos. So while you might be too small for PDEA to go after as a foreigner you would make a good example for showing that the President's position or not the Philippines is still tough on marijuanaKAMEHAMEHA wrote: ↑November 15th, 2018, 1:24 pmReally?
