Today I just watched "Its a Wonderful Life" movie and its both very heartening, as well as sad, to watch these classic movies and realize just how much America has lost over the years. Watching the movie, I realized that all of the decline in our society doesn't really come down to logically explainable factors. Yes, that's part of it. But one thing I've been noticing more and more lately is that a lot of people on the American right-wing who call themselves "conservatives" still seem like liberals. Sometimes I can't put my finger on why. Somebody could be spouting off extreme right-wing views and still somehow sound like a liberal. But today, I finally realized what it was.
True conservatives, true traditionalists, are not selfish people. They are not self-absorbed, they believe, more then anything, in doing the right thing. Conservatives at heart want to be dutiful, honorable, and moral people. Nowadays, however, what's considered "right-wing" or "traditional" is basically just the left's caricature of what people back in the past were like rather then how they actually were like. Men in the 1950s were not using weird PUA tricks to keep a woman by their side. They weren't thinking about "their masculine dominance." These subcultures and communities are not "rediscovering traditional masculinity." Men back then were not negging women, they weren't pretending to be disinterested in order to avoid looking needy. They weren't doing any of the weird, psychological tricks that are peddled to us as advice on how to seduce or keep women nowadays. You watch classic movies and you'll realize, men back then were unbelievable simps by today's standards lol... They told women they were the prettiest girl in the world, they'd do anything for them, they'd sing to the moon about how their life would be meaningless without her, they cried in front of their wives. You see how actors/actresses in classic movies hugged and kissed with incredible passion compared to actors/actresses today. Even looking at old photos, you can see it. Look at old photos from the 50s of couples kissing or hugging and you can see they are very full, very passionate, full of steam and with absolutely no shame. Photos of modern couples kissing or hugging tend to look awkward and strangely distant by comparison. The difference is quite astonishing when you really pay attention...
People were extremely passionate about one another back then because people still had soul. People grew up, they understood that the childish mentality of self-absorption, selfishness, exploiting and abusing the weak in society, looking at the weak with contempt, always trying to maneuver yourself in order to get the most benefit out of every situation, only leads to misery and ruin. Happiness comes from being surrounded by loved ones whom you genuinely trust. People in the past understood this, and this is why almost all movies in the past were either full on romances or had a romantic side plot. And romance films in the 50s were not considered "chick flicks." They were unisex and mostly made for married couples.
Traditional values, in the true old fashioned sense was always about doing the right thing and being a moral person. Unfortunately, however, the modern right-wing seems to believe that traditional values was all about strength and because of that, a lot of modern right wingers glorify behaviors that nobody in the 50s thought was okay. They outright support degrading women, they believe its a good thing for people to be greedy because of their obsession with the wonders of capitalism and the free market, guys who are judged as loving or spoiling their girlfriend/wife too much are called simps, and men who display any kind of weakness, vulnerability, or softness of some kind get called faggots or effeminate.
I've grown up around true conservatives my entire life and nobody in my immediate or extended family subscribes to this harsh, macho, aggressive form of conservatism I see spreading around the internet like wildfire. All of the most conservative men I've known in my personal life were basically big teddy bears who always wanted to surround themselves with family and constantly talked about love and how important it was. In other words, they are all men whom modern, internet based right-wingers would call simps, effeminate, or faggots.
If people really want the decline of morals and values to stop. We need to bring soul back into our nation. The lack of soul is what is fueling everything, the degeneracy, the materialism, the lack of creativity in Hollywood movies and music, the crime, the selfishness, the anger, the shallowness of everything. It all goes back to the fact that America has lost its soul, it has forgotten and in many cases lost faith in the value of love.
America's biggest problem is that it has no soul anymore

It's not possible to stop a decline of morals and values past a certain point. Also, it's the leaders of a nation that need to create values and it starts at the top and then gets mandated to the bottom.Outcast9428 wrote: ↑December 25th, 2021, 12:13 amIf people really want the decline of morals and values to stop. America and many people in America have lost their souls. There is something about the eyes of people in America and their behavior. Many don't have any genuine positivity or a genuine niceness in their eyes anymore. But it's to be expected when a people have lost their pride, their morals, their values, their connections to other people because human connection in America isn't valued, their hope because America is currently a hopeless society, and who have lost all trust in others and in their society.
Social engineering is everywhere in America.
People who have been rejected too many times by females do lose faith in love.
It's easy for people to lose their faith but it's not easy to regain the faith once it's been lost.
America is about social engineering, not freedom. It's also about control, not freedom. That's why everything in America is about indoctrination. The school system teaches myths, whitewashes history, even paints a fictionalized version of American history and World War II, Hollywood and the News are elements of the social engineering, the materialism is about upholding the system that benefits the Elites because the idea anyone can become a millionaire or a billionaire helps the victims of the system that keeps them poor, unemployed, or working class for life believing that they can eventually become one of the richest people but the truth is that America has the lowest socioeconomic mobility compared to any developed nation including the nations they call socialist. There is also no genuinely free healthcare anywhere in the socialist nations because people pay for it. It's just the national healthcare plans will pay for people with preconditions and national healthcare isn't for profit.
The only way to restore morals is to have good leaders with absolute authority to make changes without answering to anyone and the changes need to also create hope, purpose, prosperity for all but especially everyone at the bottom and end poverty, and opportunity so there's no unemployment and so everyone can do the work they are best suited to doing.
America is too far gone that at this point. There's no changing or fixing a broken system in a nation that can't be changed. Everyone in power in America are part of the Elites or backed by the Elites. They need the rich and the corporations and the Jews (and Israeli lobby) to sponsor them or they won't win. Without being a mainstream candidate with powerful backers, they won't get airtime. Then, the United States is unique because it's system of government is crafted in a way that the President is powerless without Congress and the Supreme Court can override both, while Congress can override the President, and the only way Congress can override the Supreme Court is with an amendment to the Constitution. The United States has no hope for it's future because it already crossed the point where any changes now are "too little, too late" and that is if the changes were legitimately good changes.
America won't be collapsing in the 2020s and it might not (completely) collapse in the 2030s, but by 2040 the United States will have collapsed like the Soviet Union.
America is indeed a lost cause. There's no possible way to save a nation as far gone as America. It's best to leave to a better nation and then build a life in a nation that can survive a collapse, or at least be healthy and offer a good life (to a person and offspring).

Yes, they had it all and instead of handing us a better version they created this dystopian nightmare. May they roast in Hell.
