Finding a Beautiful Blind Woman

This might be a good solution for a man who cannot attract a beautiful woman otherwise. Are you concerned about your looks? Are you not good-looking? Are you overweight? Do you have skin issues? Do you look sloppy and don't zip your fly, but just can't seem to get this straightened out? Can you just not give up that pocket protector and those horned rimmed glasses that repel the females?

Here is an idea for you... find a blind woman. If she's blind, she won't know what you look like. You will still have to talk to her nicely.

Now, let's add the H/A idea. A blind woman overseas.

I don't know where to find a beautiful blind woman. Honestly, I can't remember seeing a blind 9. I do know a middle-aged woman in Indonesia who had a pretty face who was going blind, but she was kind of chunky and kind of 'at the wall' for looks at the time. But there are probably some really pretty blind women out there.

In a western, slutty culture, it could be that men stay away from blind girls, but it is possible that other men with suboptimal looks hit on the girls for sex. Maybe they get too much attention. Blind people in the US are taught to walk around with canes and be independent. School and employers make accommodations to hire them and other handicapped people. But go to some developing country that doesn't have all the support, and a blind woman may be living in her parents house with no marriage prospects?

For those of you who are looking for wives, if you can find a blind woman, think of the lack of competition. In countries without the safety net, where people are poor, a man needs a wife who can take care of stuff, and there might be a prejudice against the blind, that they aren't as good at tending house, etc. She has no idea what you look like. She can feel your face, but what does that tell her? If you have money for a maid or don't mind doing housework, this could work out. I suppose blind people can do housework, but I'd imagine they don't do as much or don't do it quite as well. And what would they do all day? I'd imagine a blind woman might want to have more sex... just imagining here, since she can't see anything and would have difficulties doing some of the other things around the house. (I've got not stats for that. Just thinking out loud here.)

Now, the question is, how do you find a pretty, sweet blind girl overseas, or in your home country?

Then again... there are plenty of ugly or elderly, obese or otherwise odd men from wealthy nations who have married foreign girls who are beautiful, but not blind or in any other way impaired. You just simply have to leverage whatever it is you got that may give you an advantage on the dating market. For some Asian or African ladies, all that matters is your white skin. Or your relatively deeper pockets.

I reckon in the West, if looks are truly all that matters (and to a degree this is true), a blind girl might be more willing to overlook a man's facial flaws? But then again, the same cannot be said for her friends and relatives, many of which may have the gift of sight. And they would still give her shit for dating some hideous Quasimodo. This is a fun little what-if scenario but... rather futile, I'd say.

If you had a 35-year-old daughter sitting at home unmarried... because she's blind.... and a decent extremely homely man wanted to marry her, would you really oppose that? Blind women probably aren't the top choice for men looking for wives? I'd imagine there are somef PUA types who will want to date and dump blind women after a night with them. Family might be willing to accept Quasimodo for a blind daughter.

Also, it's considered kind of unethical to be prejudiced against someone with a physical handicap in the US-- like Quasimodo's hunch back. You can just not date a blind woman, and no one accuses you of anything. But if you told your blind daughter not to date a man because he looks like Quasimodo, then you are a bad guy, right? There is also the idea floating around that you are supposed to appreciate people for who they are, and not their looks.

But I wasn't really thinking about a Quasimodo type. Maybe a man who would be considered a 5, who isn't so ugly that people see him and say, "That man is ugly"... could get a better-looking woman if she were blind.

There is also the idea that different cultures value different things about looks. I suspect an average-looking white guy who goes to the Philippines or Indonesia could be considered better looking because he has a 'pointy nose' and white skin. He might go up a point for that. There are also women there who just like white guys, and there aren't many there. Perceptions of beauty can be a bit different. I've also heard white men talk about being crazy about Asians, but then date an Asian girl with fat, unrefined features, and a body that looks the same, and think she's pretty because she's Asian. There are Asian women who are the same about white guys. If everyone demanded an 8, 9, or 10, no one would be married, and there is variability in how we all rank looks.

Leveraging different beauty standards across the world is probably a better strategy than finding a blind woman. Honestly, I can't remember really seeing a beautiful blind woman, aside from the above-average looking face of the middle aged woman I mentioned earlier. I did see a very deaf girl at the pool when I was a teenager. I couldn't really communicate with her except through her little brother who knew sign language.

This is a somehow strange thread, I know only one blind young woman in the Philippines (almost blind since birth, microphthalmia, can see differences between day/night but not much more) however there are also men who are almost blind and there is NO lack of competition.

She is married, has two children who are healthy and now as the children are getting older, they are able to guide her around, but I also noticed that blind people - while they cannot see - develop strongly their other ways how to notice the world around them by hearing and feeling and even by smelling when cooking or eating in a restaurant etc..

Usually, in general handicapped people are looking to meet other handicapped people while depending for some activities help from healthy humans, sometimes a guide dog is helpful too, or a mobility scooter etc.

But blind people can do really surprisingly many things by themselves, they learn to memorize their surroundings, but in a different way we do.
Once I entered the home of this blind woman for a visit - I just entered and she said, Hello Yohan before I said anything to her. I was surprised, asked her how she knows who is coming, she told me just by listening the way I walk in and where I am now? Just on the right side, a few meters away from her she said. She was standing up, coming straight to me and stopped about 1 meter directly in front of me.

Here in my area where I am living in Japan, there is a home/school for deaf and blind people.

Not long time ago I was watching a blind Japanese man waiting in front of an acustic signal linked to a traffic light to cross a very busy street going to the bus station (about 500 meter away)

He did it all alone, he knew the route from the home to the bus station and how to get on the bus by himself.
I asked him if he needs help, he said, he is grateful if somebody takes care of him but he can do it alone. He understood the time table of the bus, knew how to get on the bus, knew where to touch his special bus prepaid card for payment (inside the bus for a very reduced fare), where to sit down (just checking with his thin cane if the seat for handicapped people is available....and also when it was time to get off the bus.

I could never do that with both of my eyes covered...I would be lost.

Here is a suggestion for @Mercury . He could find a pretty available blind woman, find out her routine. If he stalks her, maybe she can't hear or smell him and know he's stalking her. Let's say she hangs out on a park bench in his town. He could give some money to a few women to hang around that area. Then he could go, strike up a friendly conversation with him. After he leaves, the women.... who he paid to do it can say,

"That's a good looking man."
"He's really masculine?"
"Didn't I see him volunteering a the children's home?"
"That is one of the most innovative men in the ______ industry?"

And a sassy black woman to say,
"That is one good-looking white dude."

So she hears a chorus of people she doesn't know praising him as a high status man. He could happen to meet her later, then ask her out. Hopefully, if she thinks he is good-looking, she won't call for the police to lead him before the firing squad or have him sentenced to prison for 100 years.

Blind people are too much of a burden. They need someone leading them at all times. They need to move slowly. Blind people should never, ever be allowed to smoke or use any kind of open flame. Oftentimes I think, blind people really need a wheelchair more than anything.
