Outcast's Ideal System: Would You Choose To Live In It?

For this thread, we're just going to assume that the system is already in place without discussing exactly how we got there. Simply listen to the below points, and vote yes or no on whether you think it sounds like a fine society to live in. I have generally constructed this system to be a technologically advanced version of Medieval/Renaissance Europe with only minor innovations.

1. Organization of government.

- Ultimate power would be given to a council of ten elite, religious clerics who have been voted in by a much larger college of approximately 300 cardinals. Candidates would have to rise through the ranks and prove their ability to make decisions and govern. They would be required to study history and politics extensively in order to understand the nuances of each system. The clerics are essentially in charge of the nation's constitution.
- The college of cardinals would also act as the legislative branch of government.
- A monarch would be on the throne, acting as both a figurehead and a decision maker for how the government will function. The king has the power to do anything he deems necessary so long as it does not violate the religious constitution.
- Although it would function as a theocracy, you cannot be arrested or executed for your opinions. You may be de-platformed if your ideas are too destructive, but you would simply be given a less influential job or asked to leave the country. You would not be put in prison or killed.
- A secret order of assassins would be trained to spy on the highest members of government and make sure they uphold the basic principles that founded the nation. This order of assassin's would infiltrate the college of cardinals as well as the court of the kingdom in order to keep tabs on the nation's most powerful elite. The order of assassins would be tasked with killing high ranking executives in the government if they pose of risk of making the government too extreme or tyrannical.

2. Infrastructure.

- I would like to organize society into mostly medium sized towns of approximately 10,000-20,000 people in each town. The town would be built in a circular manner, with the businesses in the center of town and the residential areas surrounding the businesses. If the town needs to grow, then another layer of businesses would be created before a new layer of residential neighborhoods are built. This would ensure that all jobs are within walking distance and while families are perfectly welcome to own vehicles for personal use. The manner in which these towns are constructed would make it so that vehicles are not required to get to all the important locations. It would also encourage citizens to stay healthy by getting in plenty of sunshine and exercise while walking to and from work.
- While I would like to see the majority of the population clustered around a network of medium sized towns, small towns and cities would also be available to live in. The cities would be built like modern cities are since circular boundaries between businesses and residential neighborhoods would be too difficult to manage for a large city.

3. Basic legal structure and social norms.

- Various moral degeneracies would be outlawed... Abortion would be illegal except for cases of rape, incest, and the mother's life or health being in danger. Any pornography displaying sadomasochistic acts would be outlawed and the production or distribution of such materials would be a prison sentence of at least 20 years. Producing or distributing materials with particularly sickening material in it would constitute a death penalty offense. There will be a zero tolerance policy on violence during sexual acts. Any movies, books, or TV shows that portray such acts will need to remove that material so that the knowledge of such acts is completely forgotten by most of the population. Birth control would only be available to married couples and provided at brothels.
- Softcore pornography would be permitted, but it must be produced by a married couple or be drawn/animated porn. If a married couple wants to make extra money, this would give them the ability to do so. But the porn industry would not enable deviancies and perversion like the current porn industry does.
- Penalties for domestic violence would be harsh so that women can trust that they are not completely helpless. A man who commits one act of domestic violence would be sent to prison for one year, and hopefully he would reform in prison. While in prison, his labor would provide for his wife. If he is convicted of domestic violence a second time or the wife proves that domestic violence was a pervasive condition on the first conviction, the abusive husband would be sent to prison for 30 years. All prisoners are required to work 8 hours a day while in prison without getting compensation for their labor.
- Any woman who falsely accuses a man of something he didn't do would be forced to serve the same sentence in prison as he would have received. They would also be required to work 8 hours a day of monotonous, menial labor.
- A woman who knowingly dates or has sex with a violent criminal would be considered an accessory to the crime and sent to a woman's prison for the same amount of time as the male criminal goes to jail for. This would not apply to women, however, who married a man who later turned out to be a criminal without her knowledge.
- Public schools would be eliminated and the church would serve as the primary disseminator of ideas, sharing wisdom, and good moral behavior. Kids would mostly be homeschooled, but private religious schools would also be available.
- Prostitution would be legal on a voluntary basis.
- The minimum age of marriage would be lowered to 13 years old. At the age of 16, girls would be enrolled in state funded marriage agencies designed to find a match for them. Men would be enrolled in these agencies starting at the age of 20. Men and women would fill out a questionnaire about their personality traits and then be presented with partners who suit their personality traits and go on dates with them. Eventually, the parents would be informed of their son or daughter's choice and it would be up to the parents to approve of the marriage or not. Finally, both the man and the woman must agree to the marriage before they can get married. After marriage, they will get two years to live together as a married couple. They must decide by the end of those two years whether they wish to stay married. If they choose so, they can annul their marriage and try again unless a child has already been born in which case they must stay together. If they annul their first marriage, their field of candidates will have shrunk considerably and the remaining candidates for marriage will all be from people who's first marriage did not work out. Couples would be strongly discouraged from annulling their first marriage and after their second marriage, they must stay with that person.
- A woman who chooses to be a prostitute can be exempted from enrolling in the state funded marriage agency. However, they can leave the profession whenever they wish and be enrolled in the marriage agency instead. Women would not be allowed to continue their job as a prostitute beyond the age of 20 so they will not be a prostitute for too long and they'd be required to enroll in the state funded marriage agency.
- People who cannot accept this system would be given the choice to leave the country.
- Women would generally not be allowed to work or go to college. However, exemptions can be made for women who are working out of economic necessity if the husband does not make enough money to provide basic necessities such as food, shelter, and clothing to his family. Additional exemptions would be made for women interested in creative arts type careers like acting, singing, painting, writing books, screenplays, selling items they have crafted at home, and other artistic type ventures.
- Men would be allowed to work starting from the age of 14.
- Adultery would be punished in the following ways... A man who commits adultery on his wife would be forced to relinquish half of his financial assets to her and she would live with her parents until she can remarry either a native citizen or a foreign husband. A woman who commits adultery would get zero financial compensation from her husband. Her husband would get full custody of the children, and she would have to work as a prostitute in order to make a living. A man who sleeps with another man's wife would be forced to relinquish half of his financial assets to the victimized man.
- No fault divorce would not be permitted. However, circumstances that may justify divorce would be adultery, infertility (assuming the family has no children), violence/abuse, or refusing to meet your spouse's sexual needs.
- When couples marry, a gift of $50,000 would be granted to them in order to get a house.
- The church would be the provider of any necessities in the case of emergencies. If somebody goes homeless, the church would shelter him/her. If somebody cannot feed his family, the church would use donated money to feed him. If somebody cannot afford their hospital bills the church would also use donated money in an attempt to help them. The government will not provide any form of welfare. All "welfare" will be provided, as needed, by the church.
- The minimum wage would be set at $12 an hour.
- Debt based monetary system would be eliminated in favor of the gold standard.

4. Foreign policy

- The state would prioritize the use of nuclear weapons along with creating missile defense systems that can destroy enemy nuclear weapons.
- Interventions in foreign nations' business would be minimized as much as possible. Nothing another nation does is any of our business so long as that nation is not working to undermine ours.
- Immigrants would not be allowed to fundamentally change the demographics of the nation but would be allowed to come on a selected basis. Especially to marry leftover citizens. Incels or anybody else who's interested from foreign nations can come here to marry the leftover citizens that our marriage agency is struggling to find a spouse for provided they respect our laws and customs. Immigrants can be deported if they are discovered to be teaching subversive ideas though.
- NGOs from foreign nations or the UN will not be permitted to operate in the country.
- The production of military weaponry would be nationalized. Nobody should be able to profit from war.

There may be other stuff... But this all that I've thought of so far. My objectives are to build a wealthy, technologically advanced nation that continues to respect the social values and traditions of the past, and to create a crime free society that makes monogamous marriage and family a birth right for all citizens. I have designed the gender dynamics so that women will not be empowered and men will generally enjoy a slightly higher status... But abusing women will be harshly punished, men will be encouraged to love their wives passionately and women will be taken care of in a paternalistic manner.

Well we need prostitutes and destroying their lives by not letting them marry would be a cruel way of repaying them. There are men who are perfectly fine with marrying prostitutes. The church in the 15th and 16th centuries actually did exactly what I’m proposing here and set former prostitutes up with husbands. Most men didn’t really have a problem with it back then because prostitution was seen as normal and necessary. Keeping in mind this particular mindset was not necessarily the norm across the entire Middle Ages but rather the norm specifically when naturalist and humanist philosophy were taking off.

Illegitimate children would probably be very uncommon given the young age of marriage but preferably they’d be raised by their biological parents. If that is impossible to do then they’d go to a foster home.
