God is not mocked. Why would you dedicate yourself to a demon with blood? Do you not know that there are consequences to dedicating oneself to demons and performing witchcraft and pagan rituals? Why open yourself up further to demonic influence?

And why would you dedicate yourself to a god that is so unsuccessful and so obscure that one has to read ancient near eastern texts to even know it was worshipped? Maybe the demon or demons behind it were successful and accepted worship through the gods of other mythologies later, or deceived mankind in other ways.
