Korean war Movies or just war movies in general.

Post by WanderingProtagonist »

I've been looking at a lot of war scenes lately on youtube, World War II to be exact. And I can't believe how hardcore these wars were even if some of them in the movies weren't always accurate but still. When I think about how bad a war like this could be today vs how it was back then. It really does make you wonder if the world today is prepared for a third world war...One that would make the wars in these movies look like a day at Disney Land. I picked out a few scenes from random war movies. Beware though the killings are often brutal in some of them. Whats even more strange is how serious the military use to be in the United States compared to the laughable military they have today with trans people and women being involved. I can't even begin to imagine how that would have looked if they were around during WWI and WWII...

To think all these men fought and died yet the banks made all that profit....War in the films look glamorous and in all but I swear they just often make me strongly hate the people who cause them. Wars in the past often had their leaders fighting on the front lines with their soldiers and by in the past I'm talking about the 17th century and so forth before commanding officers became pussies using others to fight and die in the wars they start.

Nowadays you get some prick in Israel or in DC who picks a fight, make up some propaganda about another country, maybe cause a false flag like 9/11 by killing your own citizens and then blaming it on another country. Still the battle scenes are interesting and entertaining to watch. I added a few links, I don't know how you guys post links to youtube and then have the videos appear in the comment box so you will have to just click on the links but no matter what order you watch them in, they're all pretty good war scenes...Also use Ublock, youtube ads are f***ing annoying.

War movies are pretty entertaining , but I could just imagine the brutality and horror of war for the average soldier. I sure wish I wasn't sent to the front lines.

True that. Leaders used to fight their own battles, but now they are just p*ssies who sit behind a desk, and you don't see Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, George W Bush, Queen Elizabeth, Angela Merkel, Obama, Donald Trump, etc driving their Abrams tanks and fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and Ukraine.

If those politician class, banker class, CEOs, Captains of industry get on the cold muddy trenches in Ukraine or hot desert mountain in Afghanistan and getting shot at and getting bombed at then we would see world peace because now they experienced what war is like firsthand.

You should read this book or search on youtube on it. It's called "War is a racket" and it's main idea is have all the elite politician, banker class get conscripted and fight in the front lines just like the rest of the masses. Then there will be more peace and less wars because the elites know what war is like unless he/she is a certified sociopath/pyschopath.

What do you wanna know? Korea's history is pretty long, but filled with many tribulations, turmoil and brutal wars. If you read up on Korean history then you will know that Koreans are not really happy campers.

Well what were the reasons they had to fight? Did the Jewish banking system have anything to do with their wars or did they fight for another reason? I saw a movie where a Korean soldier and a japanese soldier fought side by side, and their commanding officer then locked them together inside the gunner where they almost got killed when one of the allied forces tossed a grenade inside. I don't know if that really happened or if Japan and Korea actually fought side by side. I don't know you would think that Japan and Korea would just unite and build up their nations better and kick the U.S. the f**k out. Clearly America is the worse damn country to ally with, I mean third world conditions, corrupt as shit government, war mongers, etc.

You mean the Korean war? Here is a summary.

The main reason is ideological differences. The North occupied by the Soviets adapted communism and The South occupied by the Americans
adapted democracy(in name only, actually a republic) and capitalism. This was right after World War 2, and the U.S and the Soviets entered a Cold War. Originally Stalin didn't care and didn't wanted to support the North, but Kim Il Sung, the leader of North Korea wanted to unify the entire Korean peninsula under communism. So he begged Stalin for additional war materials and Soviet air support. With Stalin's support Kim Il Sung started the Korean War by launching a surprise attack on the South at the dawn of June 25th 1950.

The South Korean military was overwhelmed by North Korean tanks and troops rushing down the border. They had no adequate weapons and anti tank weapons. The South was pushed back all the way to Pusan by the end of 1950's. However, thanks to U.N's support, and U.S's rearming Japan( Originally Mac Arthur wanted to turn Japan into an agrarian state after it's surrender in 1945), the allied army was able to keep the North Koreans from taking over Busan, the last stronghold and where the South Korean government remains. After that, Mac Arthur launched a bold and daring landing operation to Incheon and took over Seoul, which disrupted the North Korean supply lines and caused the North Koreans to retreat back North. Throughout 1951, the U.N allied forces(South Koreans, Americans, various other nations such as Ethiopia, Turkey, Greece, UK, etc)
managed to take Pyong yang, the capital of the North, and drive the North Koreans out of the peninsula. Just when victory was in their grasp, the Chinese launched a human wave attack down the border. The Chinese army I think around 300,000 managed to push down the U.N army near the 38th parallel. The Chinese attacked because they don't want Western capitalist army at their doorstep and setting up bases. The Chinese under Mao Tse Dong, needed a buffer state against the West. Mao was a friend of Stalin at that time.

And for the remaining two years(1951-1953), the Communists(China and North Korea) and the Western allies, fought fiercely in the 38th parallel at the battle of the gorge.. where territories changed hand many many times and littered with dead bodies. However, either armies can make head way and lot of people died taking over worthless hills and mountains. Mac Arthur wanted to nuke China and create a nuclear dead zone so the Chinese can't cross over into the peninsula, but President Truman didn't want to offend Stalin and start world war 3, so he sacked Mac Arthur. A stalemate was reached and in 1953, the U.S and the Chinese and North Koreans decided to sign an armistice, a treaty to stop the war. However, even to this day the war has not truly ended officially.

The Korean guy with Japanese guy was in Korean movie "My way" in 2011. However, it's mostly fiction and historically didn't happened(The Korean and Japanese guy fighting together bromance sh*t). Although it did vaguely went over battle of Khalin Gol(famous WW2 battle with the Soviets vs Japanese in Manchuria), Stalingrad(Brutal death battle between the German 6th Army vs the Soviets), and D day(Operation overlord where U.S and British forces landed on Normandy). The movie was based on three Asian captives captured by the American forces in D Day on World War 2.
One of the Asian guy, I don't know the name, actually fought for the Imperial Japanese Army in Machuria, the Soviet Army, and then the German Wehrmacht. He was sent to the United States and lived a peaceful rest of his life.

Who knows.. once "skynet" takes over and kill all the useless cannon fodders maggots than the elites will be next. 8)
And A.I advancement is much faster than we think. We are going to have global "idiocracy" once the AI does everything for us.
We might even forget to drive a car or almost anything menial and be severely dumbed down. Then the sentiment A.I decide to wipe us out because we became useless.
How much do you know about Korea and it's wars?

I have always wondered how are wars even won, do they just fight until they have no more men left, or until entire towns are destroyed. When I watch the movies it looks like the bombs never stop falling from planes, but in real life warfare you rarely see footage of thousands of planes flying over a city bombing it to shit. Only in movies they show this happening. I'm not saying it doesnt happen in real life, it just seems like a rare tactic used in reality. If I was losing too many of my men I would just surrender, there is no point in letting all your men get killed if you can at least surrender to save some of them so they can go back home. For some reason people assume that surrendering automatically means you lost...But sometimes you really have no choice but to surrender....Japan did it out of fear because America was a p***y and decided to use a nuke, which I think is a cowardly way of fighting a war. And now so many nations own them. So the next time someone decides to be a dick and use a nuclear weapon, someone else will retaliate with one of their own. I really hope WWIII doesn't happen at all, or at least not in my life time. Generally when I watch war movies they don't scare me, most of it is heavily dramatized by I still believe some of the heavy combat in a few of those movies were equally as intense in real life. I can also see the U.S. someday dividing up and breaking apart if the Democrats win again this year....That means Democrats will be communist so it'll be just like North korea and South Korea with the Democrat States all being communist regimes.
