Nightclubs are hell

Here is an interesting article about nightclubs. I am glad there are some people out there who hate the "club scene" like I do. Even in college I was never into the "bar scene." In this article this guy talks about how some people go to nightclubs "just to be seen" and then they take pictures of themselves and post those pictures on their face book page (so their friends can say, "hey you were out at a club having fun last weekend").

I have never understood the fascination with bars and nightclubs. I guess if you want to look "cool" and if your trying to get into "the in crowd" maybe that's why so many young people in the US and the UK are obsessed with bars and clubs. The music is so loud you can't even hear what other people are saying. Also, it's crowded and usually the men outnumber the women. And your supposed to meet someone in that kind of environment? WTF?
