1. I'm pretty sure DIA attracts a high percentage of players and/or P4P types. Don't assume it is representative any country's typical women.

2. Some of the girls w/Will N. Dowd might not have much experience (perhaps 1-3 bfs, husbands, etc.) but are blown away by him being so tall and striking in the context of Davao.

3. I believe you can still find very innocent types, even virgins in Phils. if you know how to look for them.

After being here almost 2 weeks now, I have concluded that most DIA girls here in Davao are wastes of time. Even ones I friended on fb that agreed to meet me previously now usually ignore me. Most messages I send on DIA go unanswered from local girls. Yes of course I have met and banged 5 from there but 2 of them I met on my last trip and only banged now. The 2nd and 5th were the hottest ones, while the others were ok, nothing special. Strangely I get a lot of interest from outside of Davao, which I have to turn down for now. I still think that even though I am in the Philippines, dating sites here although much better are simply a way for mostly unattractive girls to hide behind pictures they have edited to look better. Most are too shy, or scared to meet, especially foreigners like me. They really only seem interested in chatting online and then texting. You clearly have to give yourself a direction. Davao isn't just the poosey paradise you thought. People are real, they work, they have problems, and big ones too. I don't know exactly who you met and banged, but from your descriptions I can tell that most of those girls could well be happy to ride you as a happy diversion, but after that they had their ailing parents, their family debt, their tiring work schedules and their screaming kids to go back to.

I have to wonder whether you're seeing those poor girls as throw-away human toys, or people with feelings, and needs. I know you have been sex-starved for months if not years in your Vancouver, and getting some sex out of your system has been your top priority. Now I advise you to stop banging girls who you wouldn't be interested in seeing more than once or twice more, and look for one or two serious prospects who do tick all your boxes, not just in the looks department but also in the intellectual/status one.

I have been to Davao and let me tell you: finding and wooing middle class girls is just as hard, if not harder, than in more open-minded societies like the US, UK and Canada. Middle class Filipinos are (rightly) proud of who they are and what they do to upkeep their statuses. They work hard and make their children study and work hard, they make sacrifices working for long months abroad so their families can have the best in life, education, etc. To date some of those girls you need to present yourself with an identity, a purpose in Davao. Playing the mindless womanizer won't cut it, in fact it will cause them to immediately lose that "default" measure of respect they usually give foreigners...just because they are foreigners.

If you are planning to live in Davao for the medium or long term, I would advise you to give yourself a professional identity: online entrepreneur, call center manager, translator, etc. Then hit the places where the middle and upper class congregates, especially business seminars at the better malls (Abreeza and SM Lanang) and the better hotels (Marco Polo, Apo View and Grand Menseng). A good thing is to join big international charities like the Rotary Club or the Lions. Davao has several chapters of them and they are by far the "fastest track" to know the people who matter in that city. Of course to gain their respect you will have to show them respect, too: they're politicians, doctors, lawyers, businessmen after all. After you have shown some genuine interest in that part of the city and its citizens, I can assure you meeting the kind of gorgeous, smart and classy young ladies you are talking about, for a long-term relationship, would be a lot easier and less frustrating. The fact you're still very good looking and unmarried can only be an advantage to their eyes.

Just lose your cynicism and try and appreciate what Davao and its people can offer you. Good luck.
