I don't know whether the prediction will come true or not. I saw a conspiracy video which claimed that the map is based on secret knowledge possessed by the global elite and that those who know about this and have wealth plan to relocate to New Zealand which will supposedly be the place least affected by the cataclysm.
Assuming that the map is correct, it would be interest to consider how the world will be reshaped by this supposed cataclysm geopolitically and even how our own HappierAbroad plans will be influenced.
Let's take a look at the major regions:
The West Coast, Nevada, Utah and Colorado will be completely obliterated as will certain coastal cities on the East Coast. Some of the northern regions of Canada will also be engulfed and the Caribbean islands will disappear completely. A breach will be opened in the region of the Mississippi and Louisiana will be lost. However, large parts of the eastern and central US will remain intact together with much of the Canadian regions of Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Much of North America will fair okay.
Although Mexico's coastlines will be ravaged, the central highlands will remain intact and the major political and economic centers will continue as normal. Central America on the other hand will be reduced to islands.
The interiors of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia and the south of Chile will be engulfed. Major cities in the highlands such as Quito, Cuzco and Arequipa should survive. Argentina and Uruguay will likewise be largely devastated but much of Brazil including its capital Brasília will fare well. Maybe Brazil will become the second political and economic superpower in the Americas after the US.
Many European countries will be completely obliterated. That includes pretty much all of Central and Eastern Europe and most of Northern Europe. Switzerland and small parts of Italy, France and Germany will remain. So will the Spanish and Portuguese highlands, the Turkish highlands, my part of the UK, and some of the Nordic highlands. But surviving nations will be the exception in Europe.
Africa won't be affected too badly. Many of the nations will remain as we know them today despite the significant breach through the middle of the continent.
Entire Asian countries will be destroyed such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines. The whole densely populated eastern region of China will be devastated and China will probably cease to be a nation. However, the highlands of Central Asia and certain parts of Southeast Asia will remain intact. The central portion of India too.
Look at Russia. Only the Eastern Siberian part will survive.
Australia's coastline where most of its major cities are situated will be submerged. New Zealand will not only survive but actually gain area.
Where do you guys intend to relocate if this all comes true?
