I wonder why God continues to allow bad elites to rule over everybody else and continue to plunder everyone. I mean when is it going to be the point where he says "enough is enough"?

Eric Dubay the flat earther makes some good arguments in these two videos about how God gaslights us in the Abrahamic religions and therefore cannot be all good as we've been told. He also says that New Age gaslights us too by telling us that we created it all and therefore we are to blame for everything, which makes no sense either. What do you think @Pixel--Dude and @Lucas88?
Gaslighting is a type of psychological manipulation in which an abuser attempts to gain power and control over another by sowing seeds of self-doubt and confusion, deliberately and systematically feeding false information, intentionally distorting reality and coercing the victim into constantly questioning themselves. The term originally derived from the 1944 film Gaslight in which a woman’s abusive husband slowly twists and shapes her reality until she believes she must be going insane. In many ways this parallels the metaphysical plight of the human condition, the constant confusion, contradictions and confounding nature of this realm...

One of the most widespread beliefs, found in nearly all religions and spiritual systems, is that we live in a wonderful world, designed by a benevolent designer, created by a wholly loving and perfect monotheistic Creator. The Universe is seen as a University, a material dimension where we can manifest our desires, learn lessons, gather information and experience, grow and evolve into something better and later go somewhere better. By developing our karma, living in accordance with certain commandments, or by having enough faith, we are promised immortality in a heavenly afterlife realm with other perfected spiritual beings. Generally accompanying these claims is the further belief that those who don’t manifest their desires, refuse to learn lessons, fail to develop their karma, live out of accordance with commandments, or don’t have enough faith, are condemned to nearly endless reincarnations, or worse yet, to spend eternity in hell...

Additional thoughts:

It's obvious that whoever created this matrix is unjust and imperfect. But we are taught to blame Adam and Eve for everything which makes no sense and seems like a scam to get us to blame ourselves for no just reason.

God must have created good and evil the same way a movie director puts heros and villains into their movie, to move the story forward. Even the Bible in the book of Isaiah says that the Lord creates good and evil. Look it up.

Why would God demand perfection to get into heaven? Isn't that unreasonable and impossible and therefore totally unjust and unfair? Nothing in Christianity make sense and it tries to get you to blame yourself for everything which is gaslighting and victim blaming.

Eric Dubay has another video about this topic called "Question for the Creator" where he asks hard questions that Christians never dare to ask, which prove that God cannot be all good or all just or even reasonable.

God is morally but He can send things that are 'bad' to people from the perspective of those experiencing those things.

God brings judgment on the wicked and may allow the righteous to suffer if it is for a good purpose. God does not deliver a constant, steady supply of milk toast and lolly pops to everyone. That is not what is meant by God being good

Another video trying to explain why God is good and not evil, using circular logic and pinning the blame on us, as usual. Features clips by atheist Stephen Fry and theist John Lennox.

Question: If a CEO claimed to be perfect and blameless and blamed all the company's problems on his employees and took no responsibility for it, would anyone accept that? Of course not. So why does the God of the Bible get away with it? Because you are all gullible and naive and foolish and easily scammed? lol. The creator is responsible for everything. That's basic logic and cannot be refuted. We all know this. Stop making excuses. Look up Howdie Micksoki, he tells it like it is about the creator of this matrix.

What's the evidence that God is 100 percent good and perfect? NOTHING. What's the evidence for an evil God? Look all around you in this world. Millions of evidence and proofs. Enough said. There's no comparison. Those who think God is all good and perfect have 0.00000000 evidence. They are just believing what they want to believe in spite of all evidence, and trying to pin the blame on Adam and Eve which doesn't work and is a cheap shot and non-intellectual.

Most likely God is not good or evil, he's beyond that and merely an accountant that creates a certain amount of good and evil, happiness and suffering, in order to balance duality or else the universe cannot exist. It's the same reason why George Lucas put good guys and bad guys in the Star Wars movie, because without them, the movie cannot exist. Like any CEO, he does what he needs to run the business, and we are on some form of energy farm, like shown in the Matrix movies.

Excuse me, but blaming all pain and suffering in this world on Adam and Eve doesn't hold water either. They were two stupid naive people who made one little mistake. Punishing the world because of them is like punishing your kids for life because they stole a cookie from the cookie jar. It's 100 percent unjust and evil and just a cheap shaming tactic to try to pin the blame on us when the creator is obviously to blame. There's no way around this. When I confront Christians about this they are dumbfounded and silent, because deep down they know it's true. This world being run by an evil god makes 1000 times more sense than this world being run by an all loving all good god. There's no comparison. Everyone deep down knows this, they just suppress it. Because it's super obvious if you think about it. Instead we have this false dichotomy that either God is perfect and all good or he doesn't exist at all and everything is created randomly, both of which are obviously false.

This might be a blasphemous question. But why can't God be imperfect or have an evil or dark side? Why do people need to believe that he is perfect and flawless and all good, all righteous, all just, all loving, etc. just because religion and church says so?

It just doesn't make sense given our imperfect world that is cold and cruel. In a world where evil rules, where 75 percent of the world live in poverty and suffering, where terrible things happen to good people, where animals have to kill and eat other animals to survive, wouldn't it make more sense for God/the Creator/the programmer of our matrix to be evil, sadistic, or revel in chaos? I mean if you can accept that, wouldn't the world make a lot more sense?

Humans have an evil side with harmful destructive qualities. They are imperfect with flaws and negative traits. So why can't God be the same way? The Old Testament describes God as a "jealous God" with regrets and anger. So why do we need to make him out to be perfect and flawless? Why can't he be flawed? Why do people need to believe that he is completely perfect?

When I'm talking about God, I'm not necessarily referring to a traditional God, just to whatever mind or consciousness at a higher level or dimension is running things and created us. It could also refer to some computer programmer outside of our universe or dimension who put us in a sort of holographic matrix or super computer simulation, since our universe does have some of the properties of a computer program, as some experts have pointed out. (Google "Are we living in a computer simulation" to find some experts, books and websites about this) I'm just referring to whoever or whatever is running things.

Why can't this Creator or super consciousness be evil and flawed, or at least have an evil side? Or at least have negative/bad/imperfect qualities? It would make more sense wouldn't it, given this cold, cruel, unjust universe that we live in that makes no sense. Everything has a good side and bad side. It's part of the ying and yang of our universe. So why can't that apply to the Creator too? If the creation reflects the creator, then this would make sense, wouldn't it? A perfect Creator cannot create an imperfect world.

What do you think?
I think a better argument would be that perhaps there is a tendency of a higher power to be neutral but to have a focus on specific and arbitrary rules, rather than good versus evil. Perhaps the universe is a neutral construct, but it is what we do with it that creates evil

Check this out. Howdie Mickoski said that a Romanian author in the 1960s wrote an essay called "The Evil Demiurge". It basically said that the god that created this world cannot be all good because a perfect all good deity would not need to or want to create anything, and would lack the imagination to do so too. Only an evil or imperfect god would need to create something. Therefore, the demiurge that created this world must be imperfect and partially evil at least. It's an interesting argument. I searched google for that essay he's referring to and found it at a few links. See the links below if you want to check it out.

https://www.metaphysicalexile.com/2020/ ... l-god.html

https://portalcioranbr.wordpress.com/20 ... od-cioran/

Excerpt:
"It is difficult, it is impossible to believe that the Good Lord—“Our Father”—had a hand in the scandal of creation. Everything suggests that He took no part in it, that it proceeds from a god without scruples, a feculent god. Goodness does not create, lacking imagination; it takes imagination to put together a world, however botched. At the very least, there must be a mixture of good and evil in order to produce an action or a work. Or a universe. Considering ours, it is altogether easier to trace matters back to a suspect god than to an honorable one."

Interesting term that you didn't know existed.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dystheism

"Dystheism (from Ancient Greek: δυσ-, romanized: dus-, lit. 'bad'; θεός, theos, 'god') is the belief that a god is not wholly good and can even be considered evil. Definitions of the term somewhat vary, with one author defining it as "where God decides to become malevolent".[1]

The broad theme of dystheism has existed for millennia, as shown by tricksters found in ethnic religions and by various interpretations of the Supreme Being of monotheistic religions. For example, the Abrahamic creator deity, when evaluated from outside the perspective of the Abrahamic religions, can be seen as inappropriately cruel, vengeful and hypocritical."

"Dystheists may themselves be theists or atheists, and in the case of either, concerning the nature of the Abrahamic god, will assert that God is not good, and is possibly, although not necessarily, malevolent, particularly but not exclusively to those who do not wish to follow any of the Abrahamic religions."

I don't get something. Obviously an evil god fits this world better than an all good god does. There's no comparison. The evidence for the former is everywhere but the evidence for the latter is zero. So why can't 99.99 percent of people go there? Even truthers, freethinkers, and intellectuals cannot acknowledge that an evil god could be running this world. They always want to blame "free will". Why is everyone blind to the obvious? It's strange.

Also look up the "evil god challenge" by Prof. Stephen Law. And look up Carl Jung's "Answer to Job". There are discussions and audiobooks about it on YouTube. Jung says that God has a dark side and shadow side like everyone else, which he doesn't like to admit. So he was apologizing to Job while beating around the bush at the end of the Book of Job. Jung's interpretation of Job makes more sense than the Christian one. And when he sent Jesus to die on the cross, he was redeeming his own mistakes, not mankind's sins.

You gotta wonder if most people are even real. If we are in a simulation, then most people could be NPCs and part of the video game or virtual reality, with no sentience and purely AI generated, like in a video game. Have you considered this? Most people definitely seem to be running on a script or program and have no free agency or observer inside them that thinks freely. Have you noticed that? You gotta wonder if most people even can think at all. They could be pure AI or droid or have a robot soul. You can't assume everyone is as conscious as you are. Even psychology says that some people have no inner dialogue. And out in the city, you see cold empty blank stares everywhere. In big cities everyone seems to be moving from point A to point B with no delay. No one stops to wonder what's going on, except me. So the entire city could be full of hologram people and AIs and NPCs and background characters like in the video game Grand Theft Auto. Right? How come you never talk about the matrix or simulation?

Check out Carl Jung's "Answer to Job". There are discussions and audiobooks of it on YouTube. See here:

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... wer+to+job

Jung says that God has a dark side and shadow side and so is not perfect as Christians claim. It's very interesting and makes more sense than what Christians think. Jung says that God was apologizing to Job at the end of the story for his mistake in making that bet with Satan, and not being able to empathize with Job's suffering. But like a proud parent, he was beating around the bush about it. And when he sent Jesus to die on the cross, he was redeeming his own sins, not the sins of mankind. It's very interesting and makes more sense than Christian theology. But too taboo for most people.
