The basic idea behind absolute nonduality

Post by willymonfrete »

from reading somanandanath,I basically see his syllogism for monism as follows:

1.all things have causal efficacy,in as much as they have the power to make themselves known.

2.whatever has causal efficacy is a capacity, energy or power('shakti is the word here)controlled by a unitive agent.

3.all the coordination in the world points to this unitive matrix or agent, because chaos is not seen in quotidian experience.

4.all phenomena being capacities of a unitive agent, means they are identical with him.

5.this is because in the shaiva view,consciousness-an agent and it's capacity or power are nondual, quality and essence are the same thing.

6.so we are identical with that unitive agent.

That's what I get from reading shivadrishti, forgive me if I made some mistakes.
