No thanks. i want money and attractive women. I don't want to volunteer with a bunch of uggos and not get paid a cent for my time.

I'm by no means liberal but I'm big into community service and development work. It is a good way to see the world but majority of these "volunteer" agencies are nothing but shams that suburban teens pay to go on to make them feel like they are doing good. Or simply just do it to boost their college or job resume. Foreign countries don't need hippie teens that wanna carry water to and from a village for a few hours a day. They need experts and professionals in various fields that the foreign country doesn't have.
