Hello all..just arrived in Manila two days ago!

Long time lurker on this forum. I came to the Philippines for fun and work exploration, but mostly on the recommendation of Winston.

A bit about me:
Mid 30s (but have exclusively dated women in their twenties, mostly because in my experience they tend to have less baggage and I find them more open to fun). Also, I look like I am in my late twenties (at least on a good day).
California is my home.
I have traveled quite a bit (Central America, Africa, Middle East)
This is my first time in the Philippines

Experience with American women:
In general my dating life has been very positive (compared to my friends), though I do find that I have periods of "down time" that coincide with me also feeling low emotionally (not sure which proceeds which--"chicken or the egg").
Physically speaking, I am short--about 5'8" or 170 cm and wouldn't call myself conventionally attractive (though I do try to keep myself in shape by running and eating healthy). Surprisingly, I have dated quite a few girls as tall or taller than me and I would say the vast majority of girls I have dated have been much better looking than me.
I feel my success comes mostly from my personality and, when I can maintain it, confidence, ability to connect, and joie de vivre.
I took a 3 day workshop with Mystery way back in 2005. (Mystery spent a lot of one on one time with us in the field in those days.) My game improved exponentially as a result. For the past five years, I have been in successive long term relationships, and though I just became single again (yay!), I have literally been out of the game for awhile and am very, very rusty.

I would love some tips on which venues I should frequent (I understand the mall is the place to be) with regards to meeting Pinays. More specifically I would like to know, what techniques people have had the most success with--it seems Winston has had a lot of success with the direct method but I would love to hear more details (or pointers on using the search feature, since I haven't been able to find the information on my own).

I really enjoy Winston's musings and his outlook on life. I find his honesty, and the honesty of the members of this forum, very refreshing (as opposed to the frequent posturing that seems rampent in the PUA community).

I literally landed two days ago in Manila. I am still getting my bearings, but already things look promising here. From what I can tell so far, the Pinay social attitude is very positive and polite (that goes for the men as well as the women).

Along with techniques and venues, I would also like know, from people who have spent time here, what cities/places I should go for sight seeing--but especially where they have had the most success with girls.I have about a month here, so I am not in too much of a rush.

Yes I agree, somethings are not meant for sharing ...such as the fact that Jboy is indeed not a boy - not in the conventional sense of the word anyways. Sometimes he claims to be Ginger - a verified girl. Sometimes he is not sure.

Rock says he responded to him and they were supposed to meet up, then he invited me along but I had reservations about it, plus sometimes its better to let boys be boys and have their fun. Last I heard is they moved it to Sunday night instead of afternoon (last weekend) so I just said I can't go anymore and wished them fun. There is no confirmation if they did meet up or if this guy exists for real.
