If I told my younger self this is where I'd be...

Post by PandaMan »

I'm 33.

If I told my younger self, ten or fifteen years ago, this is where I'd be, I'd never believe it.

I'd never believe finding a girl would be this hard.

I'm a decent looking, 5'11 1/2, white guy. Very healthy. Educated. Make tons of money online and from home.

Got all I need.

But one thing: love.

Part of it is where I live -- the boonies in the Southwest. But there ought to be girls everywhere, right? Oy vey.

I'm at a point I just can't make myself talk to women or engage with them. For one, where I'm at, they're more skittish than just about anywhere. You're a CREEP until proven otherwise.

Why is it THIS hard?

Online dating is an absolute joke. I get no real positive feedback, nothing gets going. The trash on there is just depressing. I've had few interactions, a few dates I could have set up, but mostly they were in the larger cities far away.

The last girl? She demanded, basically, I drive 1 1/2 hours to have coffee with her. Said that's what I should "do" for a "lady". Right. I actually had asked her to drive up here, since she wants to MOVE up here and I have zero desire to go where she is, which is a big, dirty, undesirable city. But the idea of a woman getting off her butt for a man? She couldn't take that. I even offered to pay for her gas. I noted she did not return that offer for me.

That, and the more I talked to her, the dumber and less engaging she seemed.

It's just endless.

I'm aware of Roosh, PUAHATE, MGOTOW (may have got that acronym wrong), all that jazz. It's encouraging to know I'm not alone -- but I can read Roosh's posts all day and what good does it do me?

I already know who I am, what I believe. I don't need a red pill, I was born with one already. I never needed to wake up. It was just nice to know I'm not alone. I've known from since the age of about 7 we're living in an insane asylum in this country. That something is "Wrong".

I've never been this depressed in my life. I see no hope. With online dating, what do these women want? They definitely don't want a normal, educated, nice guy. At all. They don't want to be engaging, friendly or flirtatious. Or even talk to you in any real way.

I no longer have any concept of what quality female attention actually is.

Well Buddy... Don't stress.. Its just the toxic American environment. The majority of AMerican women influenced by its degenerate culture are trash.. You have money and you make it online so it sounds like you are in a position to go abroad. Where you will find a woman relatively easily but be faced with other problems in return.. Anyway realize your depression is just a result of a temporary situation in a toxic environment..

Make an effort to get out of it fast... Things will change once you start making your moves..
Been living abroad for 4 years now. India, Nepal, Taiwan, and Thailand. Currently in Thailand teaching English as my bread and butter.

Check out my online store featuring cool jewelry and items at very reasonable prices from Thailand!

I couldn't agree more. Buddy get out now while you are young. Just go!!! You have the means. Take a trip or two to get a feel and then just move and don't look back. It will most likely be the best decision you will make. Look at South America or SE Asia. There's so much potential out there.

Good OP, honest and clear.

I would figure out what I needed for internet and home office amenities before moving. Like, do you need uncensored internet (forget thailand and china), fast upload, fast download, fast ping rate to US servers? Or just slow wifi at the local cafe to upload some articles you've written?

Then within the constraints of internet, I would then choose a radically different place far away from feminism. Somewhere you have instant status, where young hotties compete for guys like you. If 5% of the girls in that country are hot, this is no problem, because that 5% will talk to you over there. (Obviously if 20% are hot thats better.)

A local network is important if th place is outside the AngloZone and NW Europe. You might consider places that have some HA'ers, like Thailand, Taiwan, Germany, UK, Philippines. Or at least that have some single male US expats to talk to at the bar. Helps with figuring out who's a scammer, where to do laundry, etc.

Store your stuff under the name of a reliable friend or family member, not yours. You can sort through it some time when you get back to see your mom for Christmas. Just take what you need for a 2 month trip.

Get a street address to use in the US and change all your info with banks, paypal etc.

Then I would move to a city that is one of the top cities in the country you've chosen, and enroll in language school right away.

The connections you make through the school can help you find an apartment where you can get aircon, plus get both cable AND dsl.

As you are heading to the airport call banks paypal etc and tell them where you will be for three months. Do not tell them you are moving permanently. Just a trip. Call them every 2 1/2 months.

Think about what you would a tell a friend to do. Then do that.
"Well actually, she's not REALLY my daughter. But she does like to call me Daddy... at certain moments..."

You(we) are nothing but a worthless swipe on their smartphone.

But don't despair man. I've been about to shoot myself in the past, but have been saved by some nice trips. Relocation is the answer.
Sooooo, what country are you going to relocate to?
1)Too much of one thing defeats the purpose.
2)Everybody is full of it. What's your hypocrisy?

Thank you so much for the support.

Thank you Jester.

Yes... better women --- but some hurdles. Mostly with finances and passport/long term stays. That said, in many countries cost of living is lower.

I currently only pay $350 in rent here in the US for ALL of my needs. I live like I might in a foreign country.

But the women? Forget it. Oh my god. Honestly, they don't even care if you have money. You have to be a HUGE d-bag to get their attention and wear your pants around your waist.

Anyway...

It can happen. I just have to REMIND myself THIS IS NOT HOW LIFE HAS TO BE. I DO NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT THIS.

First, get a passport if you do not already have one. I was about 30 when I first fled the country, and more than 20 years and 63 countries later, I can assure you, it was a good idea. You will wonder why you did not do it later. You are not going overseas to save money- though in some places, the cost of living is less, which can help make up for some inconveniences.
You will soon realize, there actually are normal women in the world and that YOU can most likely have your pick of them. The biggest problem you will have is a sorting problem.

>>>Make a commitment to yourself- you WILL do this. PM me if you wish...

You do not need to continue in unhappiness.

If you have a mobile income, get yourself out of your little town and down south of the border asap! If only I wasn't tied to my job in the suburbs, I'd go to Mexico or Colombia and have an adventure, scouring through the big cities, chasing hot tail, eating enchilladas, learning to dance tango, maybe even getting into a few fights. :D

Fschmidt, a mod here, has been there.

PM him and see if he'll expand on his earlier comments.

The women there are supposed to be Whiter and good-looking, and the town is supposed to be pleasant. So I've heard.

A good place to start.

I did not travel to be a sex tourist and have a strong distaste for playing with women.
It always seems to end badly. I had long term relationships that I just kind of assumed would culminate in marriage, but they did not until later. I do not trust most women- a good one is hard to find, so when I found one I thought was good for the duration, I wanted to keep her. In addition,
I do not want my life to be about girl drama, so I far prefer stable long time relationships....

What you do is your choice, and if you want to shun men who are into permanent relationships, go for it. For my part, I have observed that men who have stable relationships tend to be better to do business with, but that is just my sampling...
