town. I met a sexy Russian lady while I was in Helsinki many years ago
and ultimately married her and stayed married for 10 years. She was
great for 7 or 8 years, but once she made some good Canadian female
friends she seemed to become much less sweet and much more bitchy.
Our relationship blew up just over a year ago, mainly because of the
negative influence her Canadian friends had in our lives, and we've been
separated ever since. I can't complain much though; she's a great lady
and a great mother and we maintain civil relations and we have great kids,
but I can't say I'll be that unhappy when the divorce finally comes!

While Canada is a great place to live and work, I'm not interested in the
dating scene here, especially after having gone Rooskie!

It's been a while since I've been to Russia (the last visit was 2003), so
it just might be time to go back to Sankt Peterburg and flirt with some hot
Rooskies (something I couldn't do while I was there, as my wife had me
justifiably on a short leash!). I can't drink like I used to when I first met
my wife, so the party scene's out for me, but at my age I'm more
interested in women in their mid-30s to mid-40s. Russian women are sick
of their alcoholic men anyway, so my tea-totaling should be a help rather
than a hindrance in meeting them.
