I am a baby boomer from midwest America. The country I grew up in doesn't exist anymore, and doesn't deserve my loyalty. This will, no doubt, become more and more clear in the next 4 years. What a sad idiocracy the USA has become.

I saw the writing on the walls after the 2004 elections, and I left shortly afterwards. The situation is far worse now, and I am very happy to be watching the political drama from far away.
