Hello everyone, I thought I'd introduce myself after lurking for a bit.

I reside in the United States, the Los Angeles area to be exact. I found this site after doing my "due dilligence" about a possible move to the Philippines. Like many of you, I am burnt out on the Western way of life (no friends, no girl, high cost of living). Even living as a simple, down-to-Earth man is expensive here. I am looking forward to a hut, some beer, and a genuine wife.
