Americans/Canadians may be asked to get visas to visit Europe

Here are articles that is just recent news that Europe is thinking of doing to US/Canada. Mainly because of how we have not agreed to allow romanians, bulgarians, croatians, polish people in visa free. So far I find EUs proposal to be ridiculous. Hard to know exactly how it will turn out and whether or not it'd be implemented after 4 months. However I do know that its possible the EU states, parliament can either block it or stall it. Thoughts? Speculations?
