How much does a Filipino need in a bank account to be eligible to apply for a Canadian visa? Does anyone know?

For a US visa I was told she needs about $2000 USD in the bank, or you can put her name on your bank account as a joint account. Then ask the bank to print out a balance statement with her name on it to show the embassy.
