Have anyone noticed YouTube videos not working too? I've checked everything and don't see what's wrong. The BBCodes are the same. Nothing has been changed. This is beyond my scope to fix. I'll have to get help from phpbb support.

Update:

Ok I got the YouTube videos working again, by replacing the YouTube BBCode with a new version that uses iframe. Now the videos show up in iframe and load faster and have a more modern widescreen format too. However, the bad news is that only the NEW videos posted will show up. All the other ones won't, because I deleted the old BBCode rather than replace it, by accident. When I did that, it stopped all the other videos from embedding. Weird. That sucks. I will have to ask the support staff at phpbb support forums if there's a way to run a database command to fix this so that all the videos show.

There is another way to make them show and that is to resubmit the post. However, it won't work unless you change something in the text, even if it's only one letter. If you don't change anything and simply resubmit a post, the video won't show. It only shows if you change something, even if it's just one letter.

For now though, the YouTube embed code is the same, with one advantage. You can use both http and https, like this:

Both will show the video now. When you embed them, they will look like this:

Anyway, I'll try to fix the other videos if I can. Maybe there's a way to run a database command that will embed the other videos. I'll ask the support staff in the phpbb support forum and see. I'll keep you all updated. Sorry for this trouble.

Announcement: It appears that YouTube videos will not embed anymore with "http". You have to use "https" at the beginning of the YouTube URL for it to embed. YouTube must have changed something to make this so. So from now on, please embed YouTube videos with "https". Remember to put the "s" in it, or it will not show. Thanks.

Some are. Yeah. They have to be re-embedded. Just edit your post with a YT video in it and resubmit it, but you have to change at least one character in the post for it to work.
