It's been over a month. How did their recommendations work? What is the status of the belly?

I eat only one meal a day and eat healthy and eat less carbs, but the pot belly just keeps getting bigger! Why won't it go away?! What's keeping it there? Now I look like I'm 8 months pregnant. WTF?! Why won't it go away no matter what I do?! Sheesh!
Lol, you probably just need a colon cleansing, fattie. Your stomach is bloating from rotting GRAINS, BEANS, and VEGETABLES in your gut. It’s easy to tell when your gut bacteria are doing the work, instead of your digestive enzymes: you fart. That is why beans and starches make you fart, but meat doesn’t: they’re rotting in your colon, and the products of bacterial decomposition include methane and carbon dioxide gases. You need some form of colon hydrotherapy to inject water, sometimes mixed with herbs or with other liquids, into the colon via the rectum using special equipment. I hear mel gibson does it all the time.

You can plainly tell that Winston's belly is made of fat. Blasting his colon with water is not going to get rid of the fat.

One meal a day? This has been gaining in popularity based on a study coming out of Europe recently. With that said, it's simple.

The keys are to reduce fat intake, the rest of personal preferences.

To lose weight and force your body to burn fat, you have to take in less calories than you burn. You also have to up your protein intake, based on your weight.

Physical Activity -

The fastest way to lose weight is to gain muscle which burns more calories. You can do strictly cardio but that tends to make your look skinny not healthy.

The program I follow is available for free and includes workouts for 5 days of weight lifting and 2 days of rest (no lifting). Now if I followed it to the ninth degree, I might have lost all the weight I wanted too faster. But by not forcing myself to buy expensive foods (buying raw veggies is expensive) and to work on a EBT budget, I bought what I felt would work based on the meal recommended for the plan.

I still ate fast food about once or twice a week. That is mostly based on two things. I use public transportation and I donate plasma. This means I can't wait to get home to eat in a reasonable amount of time. To not miss a meal (which you're not suppose to do!) I had to eat something. I would make sure there wasn't too much cheese or mayo in whatever I ate. I should also mention that eating after a workout has little to no impact on your weight loss plan. When your body is recovering, it uses up as much calories as it needs to recover. That means even the junk is burned and doesn't add to your waist line.

Just avoid it on off-days.

I lost 36lbs and kept it off. To get a completely flat stomach, I likely needed to continue working out and continue on the diet down to about 170lbs.

I had to put some weight back on for max payment for plasma, I needed to be over 174lbs. But I over did it and now I maintain 189lbs.

I went down from a size 34 pants to 32. As I said I am not fat to start with.

I will be hitting 170lbs again because Brasil is 1) an image conscious society and I want access to the best looking women, I must be in top shape. 2) which includes things like shirt off on the beach and clothes off in the bedroom.

Now you don't necessarily need a six pack and it's not possible for everybody to get. That said, if you want a flat stomach and not worried about a six pack.

Go to bodybuilder.com and find a plan that works for you. Follow it closely and it will work. You will only get a flat stomach by eating food that either increases your protein intake or burns fat.

For example grapefruit contains great fat burning properties, but it's tart taste means I would have to add a sweetener. Slpenda might work out for this though I haven't tried it.

Also try replacing at least one of your meals with a fruit/berry or green smoothie. Green smoothies help get your veggie intake up if you don't like veggies like me. Though I did eat more, I could take in way more using smoothies which I didn't do last time. So this next round I will do some smoothies.

All I can suggest is what worked for me and though I wasn't able to get a completely flat stomach, for about 60 days of working out 5 days at week and the diet, it largely work.

If I keep going for a year or two, I will get the same "beach body" that PX90 will get you for way less money.

I will be covering out in my podcast and a blog post coming soon, after the results of course.

djfourmoney has it right.
the one meal a day thing I used to do thinking it would help keep pounds off, boy was I wrong, it puts the body into starvation mode and all food goes straight to fat storage.

You might also try using something to help you track calories and nutrition like myfitnesspal ... I use it and it helps me track nutrients and goals. I eat much more than I did before (whenever I am hungry now) and still lose the fat, I of course exercise too. I try to keep my carbs low, protein and fat high (somewhere around 20/40/40 in burn mode), fat just sheds off and the high protein intake helps to not lose muscle when working out. I'll re-balance that ratio when I go into maintenance mode.

Get off your butt and exercise and stop taking in too many carbs and sugars!

It's not hard, it's just that people don't want to put in effort doing anything.

This is most of the problem and not taking in enough water.

What made this easy for me, is -

1) I wasn't a heavy junk food eater. Sure I eat processed foods, that's hard to avoid anyway without shopping exclusively at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods and cooking full meals with all natural ingredients.

Generally this isn't as big a problem, but you'll need to drink lots of water. Download Water Your Body, it should be available for both Apple and Android phones.

2) I don't drink alcohol, this is largely empty calories. The occasional drink is not an issue, it's downing an entire six pack that is a problem.

Like many things in life moderation is the key.

You need to eat more than one meals per day, maybe 3 or 4, with treats in between. And by "snacks" I don't mean the sweet unhealthy meals, maize snacks, dessert, and soft drinks you keep consuming.

Look. A poster on Roosh forum also has the same problem, a pot belly that won't go away. It's funny how that forum has parallel threads to this one.

http://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-26298.html

In the thread above, someone also recommended "Wheat Belly" as the culprit for the pot belly, and that eliminating wheat from your diet is the real solution.

Is liposuction a good idea?

Doesn't it suck when your pot belly blocks you from bending down to cut your toe nails? Doesn't that suck? lol

I lost 50 pounds recently and it really is not that hard but sticking with it is the hard part.

It's called diet and exercise, low carb and riding my bicycle took it right off but then you have to stay on it. As you get older it gets tougher but you just need to stay away from the stuff that makes you fat.

If you exercise you can eat a lot but not what you want. The minute I started going back to sugar and carbs the weight started coming right back.

Eat real food and not GMO and today you are better off not eating out much because the illuminati menu can kill you!

Same thing with the blood pressure, my blood pressure was the main reason I did what I did as far as diet and exercise and guess what it worked. Just tested 79 0ver 130.

Isn't my problem that I have a wheat belly? Isn't the solution to just eliminate wheat from my diet?

Watch this presentation by Dr. William Davis, author of "Wheat Belly". It makes a lot of sense and he has a lot of scientific evidence, as well as testimonials from his patients, to support his claim that pot bellies are caused by wheat. What do you think? Does it make sense?

The author's interview on CBS News.

I don't believe in wheat belly. The wheat we eat now is only slightly different from the wheat people were eating in the 50's, yet people then were much thinner.

Wheat is not a GMO crop--modern wheat strains were produced by cross-breeding, just like the strains used in the 1950's, just like the strains used in the 1550's.

If you eat fewer calories than you expend, your body will use your fat stores to survive. If it didn't, you would just die.

You can try eliminating wheat, but if you're consuming a caloric excess, the pot belly will remain. That's what I think.
Let's get together and feel alright.
