Hey, check out this long article from the New York Times:
Puberty Before Age 10: A New ‘Normal’?
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/01/magaz ... .html?_r=1
Here's another article from MSNBC that deals with the same topic:
Growing up too soon? Puberty strikes 7-year-old girls
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38600414/#.T37TRatYuQw
Anyone have an answer as to why girls are having puberty at younger and younger ages than ever before? I'm guessing it's all the unnatural hormones and chemicals being put into our food and water system that is causing all of this unnatural occurrence in young girls.

I think you've got the right answer... that early puberty is being caused by the large doses of growth hormones floating around in our food supply and water.
It seems like the most logical and natural conclusion. I'm inclined to believe that these same hormones are also affecting adult women, as evidenced by the increasing masculinization of women. What I mean by this is that 40 - 50 years ago,
women weren't much interested in men's sports. Today, if you go to any online dating site, you can't help but trip over dozens of women who are really into watching sports like hockey and football.
