Music video by The Gap Band - "You Dropped A Bomb On Me"

Cool song from 1982.

"When I think about the idea of getting involved with an American woman, I don't know if I should laugh .............. or vomit!"

"Trying to meet women in America is like trying to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics."

I was always a big Gap Band fan. They had some great early funk songs. This was actually my favorite song by them. There is a 10 minute version of the song which I love! I saw them live back in the late 1990s, well after their peak in the 1980s. The were playing at a small bar. They were great. I think one brother has died, but Charlie Wilson is back as a solo artist working with all the younger big names. :D
