Just saw Alien: Romulus. It was pretty good in terms of its horror scenes and scares and homage to the original Alien movies. The action scenes and dark atmosphere and tension were well crafted. However, the characters are not likable and act very stupid and low IQ too with no common sense. And as usual it's full of cliches and tropes too. It's a great entertaining movie but not that original. Here is a great video review of it and how it has a lot of mythological motifs from Genesis and the legend of Rome, etc. It's very interesting.
