Has anyone watched Cobra Kai? It's a Netflix show, continuing the story of the characters from the original Karate Kid series as adults.
Daniel Russo, the 'Karate Kid' has a nice-looking wife, two kids, a car dealership and is the late Mr. Miagi's heir, both to the style of karate and material things. He's living the American dream, using his karate championship background in his ads. Johnny Lawrence, his nemesis in the first episode starts the series as a divorced alcoholic construction worker with an estranged. The plot is interesting and I think it's a fun show with drama and action, and a lot of kids doing karate, and lots of fight signs. It's fuzzy who the villain is. Johnny is a sympathetic character, and viewers are as likely to root for him as for the original karate kid. Creese, Johnny's karate sensei, and other characters from the franchise show up, played by the original actors. It's a lot of fun, IMO.
Two of the young women on the show are actually young adult actresses playing the role of teens. One of them is Mary Mouser who plays the 'Karate Kid' Daniel Russo's daughter. Another is Peyton List, a daughter of a single mother with cancer. They both date the same boys, which leads to conflict and of course lots of action-packed karate fight scenes.
Anyway, I saw comments on Reddit that said that Mary Mouser is beautiful, and they don't dress her well for the show. I remember thinking this girl is a 5. With her build, even if she's thin, she's going to look kind of pudgy. And she's very regular-looking in the face. Maybe she could get up to a 5.5 for being pleasant looking. (I just hope the actress doesn't visit here and read. But she's got plenty of people on Reddit thinking she's pretty, so what does she care what I think if she does read it.) But I wasn't about to post that on Reddit or I'd get downvoted and I might not be able to post where i want. So where could I post such a thing? Here of course?
So I'm just wondering about my own sensibilities. What do you guys think?

And of course the Peyton List girl ranks really high for facial beauty. I'd say well above an 8 personally. But 'start the bidding at 8' starts good for fishing for opinions. Honestly I'd say something like an 8.8 for my personal perceptions for facial beauty, with a reasonably good build.

Just curious if other men basically agree with my perceptions of beauty standards.
I think men who don't differentiate much for looks in their perceptions are at an advantage for finding partners, since a wider pool appeals.

Re: Karate Kid's Daughter
As a child of the 80s, I was a big fan of the original Karate Kid franchise and a nostalgic sucker for the Kobra Kai spin-offs. It's the only Netflix series that I always binge watch on a single session. I can't find the time for anything these days, but a run of 6-8 episodes of Kobra Kai is always welcome!
Back to the actor and actresses, I liked Mary Mouser as Daniel Larusso's daughter, she is one of the characters whose development arc benefits the most by following Miyagi Dojo karate. Look-wise, I personally prefer her over Peyton List. Her face is much more symmetric and likeable than List's vaguely "Slavic bitch". About her pudginess being somewhat non-compliant compared to Hollywood standards, WIkipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Mouser) reports that she had type 1 diabetes since she was a child. Perhaps this affected her ability to stay fit and slender?
