SIGH, how the mighty have fallen...MarcosZeitola wrote:To make up for his past sins of playing this glorious character, Mr. Ed O'Neall now plays the proud father of a married gay man with an adopted Korean daughter on "Modern Family".

I used to watch this show religiously as a teen and figured I'd make sure I'd never become Al Bundy. Well I'm not him exactly but I can sure get the humor of the show much better now that I'm over 40. I do have some similar issues that middle age brings about coupled with various family/relationship issues which cause middle age men to try holding on to their younger days of independent women mongering and attention. I totally get the Al Bundy humor now, I guess, unfortunately for better or worse. Ha Ha.

Oh yeah. That is the guy. I used to watch that show as a child. As an aside, the Modern Family opening is funny. The vocalist sounds like he's being punched in the stomach. "Heph! Heph!" I get that it's jazz but come on. I don't watch MF though. The times I did watch it was for Sarah Hyland and Ariel Winter.
