What movies have told you the truth for a change?
A lot of movies/TV shows lie to us about the real world. They tell us that nightclubs are places to hook up with drunk chicks and that gorgeous women will approach us at bars, all that crap.
But what movies spoke the truth for once? My pick would be Vicki Cristina Barcelona. One American woman falls in love with an artist in Spain and finds Spain to be such a refreshing contrast from the US and its Puritanical, workaholic, materialistic culture that she had such little patience for. I am just glad to see a movie that didn't glorify the US like it is the greatest piece of land on this planet and showed somebody who was happier somewhere else.
