When I was in high school, my spanish teacher always opened up the class with 1 minute of "Suave". lol I didn't appreciate Spanish until I was in my 30s, but I remembered that song. I bought the whole album when I began studying Spanish and I was hooked. That's when I learned music in the language you are learning can REALLY help, especially with diphthongs and moods. I got some of his other material, but I learned I'm not a fan of bolero music (Romances), though I LOVE ranchera (Mexico En La Piel). One of these days I'm going to go to a karaoke bar in Mexico and sing one of his songs.
A quicky top 5 of my favorite Luis Miguel songs:
1) Suave (claro

2)Bravo Amor Bravo (from Complices)
3) Entregate (from 20 Años)
4) Amarte Es Un Placer (from the album of the same name)
5) Devuelveme El Amor (from 33)
