Any Luis Miguel fans?

Post by MeGustanLatinas »

I swear I can't seem to find one in real life. But they obviously exists, his concerts sell out quickly.

When I was in high school, my spanish teacher always opened up the class with 1 minute of "Suave". lol I didn't appreciate Spanish until I was in my 30s, but I remembered that song. I bought the whole album when I began studying Spanish and I was hooked. That's when I learned music in the language you are learning can REALLY help, especially with diphthongs and moods. I got some of his other material, but I learned I'm not a fan of bolero music (Romances), though I LOVE ranchera (Mexico En La Piel). One of these days I'm going to go to a karaoke bar in Mexico and sing one of his songs.

A quicky top 5 of my favorite Luis Miguel songs:
1) Suave (claro :) ) (from Aries)
2)Bravo Amor Bravo (from Complices)
3) Entregate (from 20 Años)
4) Amarte Es Un Placer (from the album of the same name)
5) Devuelveme El Amor (from 33)

Is that a promise or just a threat?

Heh. :D I can actually sing, I'm just shy about it. But with a few shots in me I'm not anymore. I just never had anyone with to go to the karaoke bars I came across in Ensenada. My roommates had some crazy 3rd shift schedules.
