Would you sacrifice your life to save the world or America, like movies/TV often show?

Post by Winston »

From my WhatsApp texts in America a few years ago:

Yesterday we went to costco and trader joes. Everyone looked super cold and distant. it was scary. I felt like crying. Everyone was also uptight in body language. No one was relaxed or open. No one made eye contact w anyone. When i said whats up hot stuff to girls passing by they ignored me cold. After being in russia and eastern europe i cant get used to that or tolerate it.

I also kept wondering why movies and tv shows always show that dying to save the world is a good noble thing. Why would u risk or sacrifice your life to save the world or america when no one gives a shit about u and everyone ignores you and acts cold and selfish and distant? That makes no sense. Yet all movies and TV shows portray that as a good thing, as if giving your life to save the world or america is something every good person is willing to do voluntarily. Is that true?

Also a world where everyone is money grubbing and isnt living in harmony with nature isnt a good world thats worth saving or sacrificing your life for. So movies and TV shows are crazy for showing that.

Also why would anyone wanna be a cop to serve and protect people who hate them and dont care about them? Or the military? It makes no sense if u think about it.

Btw my dad showed me an experiment video involving many ticking gadgets that show how objects grouped together always move in sync with each other. So even non-living objects have a hive mind and conform. Lol. Weird. I'll try to find the video for you.

I definitely would not risk my life to save america. Would you? Lol

Like in the movie "Executive Decision" where a team of special ops get on a hijacked airline filled with chemical weapons, to save millions of lives in america. Steven Seagal's character lost his life during the operation. Why would anyone do that? Lol. See what i mean?

If you think about it those millions of americans who would die are just robots and zombies living for money and are cold selfish bastards that dont care about u and dont even make eye contact with you and ignore u and dont acknowledge your existence even. So why would u risk your life to save them? U know what i mean?

Arent i good at asking the most taboo questions? Lol

Also if you think about it, a world where most people would sell their soul for profit, and a country like america where most people are selfish assholes, are definitely NOT worth dying to save. No way jose.

Also a world where most people have to spend most of their time in slavery and servitude to money is not worth saving or dying for either. And a world where everything is all about money and profit is definitely not worth saving or dying for either.

Like @fschmidt said, most people are scum. In fact, most people won't even return things they borrow from you, such as books and tapes. They will always forget and keep it low priority and eventually forget altogether and lose what they borrowed from you. That's why i learned long ago never to loan stuff unless the person is anal retentive, in which case they will feel anxiety if they don't return your stuff. But most people don't feel anxiety about not returning stuff and will always forget no matter how many times you remind them. They don't feel any guilt about it. What scumbags. No shame or honor.

So why does stupid Hollywood and movies and TV shows always show heroic acts where people are willing to give their lives to save others or save the world or save America, as if it's a noble act that all good people and heros are willing to do if the chance comes up? If you think about it, its not worth it. It doesn't make sense. So f***ing stupid.
