We just saw an IMAX movie in 3D! Wow!

Yesterday at a mall in Manila, Dianne and I went to the IMAX theater. They have a 3D movie called T-Rex. It was amazing. Everything in the movie stood out as though it were right in front of you, when you put on the 3D glasses. Why can't they make every movie like that?

They had the technology to do this back in the 80's. How come it hasn't been developed since then? How come they haven't made a whole line of movies in 3D? It feels like you're seeing everything in person.

If memory serves, there are only 24 IMAX 2-D cameras and 2 IMAX 3-D cameras in the world.
