I think different people have natural strengths and weaknesses. For me dancing is definitely one of my weaknesses. I lack the rhythm and coordination required to be a good dancer.

I think it is comparable to singing. For example I am a bad singer but that doesn't stop me at all from singing because it is alot of fun. So it is not always about being good at something. One can have fun with something without being good at it.

That's true. I'm the opposite. I'm pretty good a singing. I can reach different notes like high notes and stuff like that. I can sing really well (I think) and have frequently enjoyed karaoke. If I can find some old videos of me singing I will consider posting them on the forum, though I don't know if I still have any.

I enjoy having a dance, but when in view of others I feel too self conscious to dance comfortably, or get "loose" if you know what I mean. Generally speaking, I'm a pretty anxious person. Especially when it comes to dancing, not so much singing though. I don't have an issue singing in front of others, particularly if I've had a few pints of cider

For me the important thing is that I am able to do it on my own and to enjoy it. I do not like to be dependent on others. Don't you enjoy singing on your own?

Yeah, I don't need an audience in order to enjoy singing. I just meant that unlike dancing, I can sing in front of others and I don't feel self conscious. For some reason, with dancing I think people will judge me for not being good at it.

I do a lot of travelling up and down the country. I often go to London to spend time with my daughter when I can. Obviously the drive is really long so I tend to either listen to lectures, podcasts or mostly different music to sing along to.

Do you think you can enjoy dancing on your own?

What do you guys think to Jamaican dancing when I saw this I thought it looked more like wrestling! It's the most hilarious "dancing" I've ever seen.
