Bing AI : The last basejump

Post by galii »

He had always loved the thrill of flying. Ever since he was a young boy, he had dreamed of soaring through the air like a bird. He had learned to skydive, to paraglide, to hang glide, and to base jump. He had traveled the world, seeking the most challenging and beautiful spots to launch himself from. He had seen the wonders of nature, the majesty of mountains, the vastness of oceans, and the diversity of cultures. He had lived a full and adventurous life.

But now, he was dying. The doctors had told him he had terminal cancer, and that he had only a few months left to live. He had accepted his fate, but he was not ready to give up his passion. He had one last wish: to make his final base jump from the highest point he could find. He had chosen the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, located in Dubai. He had bribed his way to the top, and had smuggled his equipment with him. He had waited for the right moment, when the security guards were distracted, and had climbed over the railing. He had looked down at the city below, glittering like a jewel in the night. He had felt the wind in his face, and the adrenaline in his veins. He had smiled, and said a silent goodbye to the world.

He had jumped.

He had felt the rush of speed, the exhilaration of freedom, the joy of flight. He had opened his parachute, and had glided gracefully towards the ground. He had seen the lights, the cars, the people, and had felt a surge of gratitude for all the experiences he had had. He had landed safely, and had packed his gear. He had walked away, unnoticed, and had hailed a taxi. He had told the driver to take him to the airport. He had boarded a plane, and had flown back to his home country. He had checked into a hospice, and had settled into his bed. He had closed his eyes, and had fallen asleep.

He had never woken up.

Full video here.

I noticed that the parachute he was using didn't look like a real parachute. It looked like a plastic bag.
