Date in Asia - My experiences

I has over 1000 e-mails in my inbox and 296 women interested in me.

How's it breakdown by country.
I'm on InternationalCupid and while I do get far more interest than I ever would in the US, it's not close to those numbers.
I might average 1 message and 3 or 4 interests from new girls per day.
And they're about 60% Philippines, 20% China, 5% Vietnam, 5% African countries, 5% Europe, and 5% other Asian/Pacific countries.

And other than the volume, how would DateInAsia be better/different from the Cupid/Filipina Heart sites? How much does it cost?

I would say 95% are from the philippines.

My break down is like 95% Philippines but I only message and browse profiles from there. I get some random messages from other countries too but I typically don't reply unless there is some real substance to the message. I actually have had some long exchanges with OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers).

I've been talking to a girl on DIA and we moved over to instant message and social networking site now, and I'm quite shocked how great all her pictures look. I am somewhat doubting they are her now since they all great photos taken in locations which aren't typical in the Philippines. There is a small chance they could be legit however but that would mean this girl's family is quite wealthy. Just some details bother me but given my lack of knowledge aren't necessarily wrong either. She hasn't tripped up on any questions or details and answered quick questions about the pictures.

At the same time she doesn't seem to be scamming me and said she would come visit me. It is really quite weird. My gut says fake but I don't want to be rash given if she is legit, she is probably one of the best girls on DIA. I can't really think of anyway to check except to get her on webcam. I know much of my info is vague but just wondering what other people's experience are with weird situations like this.

Apparently this is just me talking to myself now, but I'm wondering how many non-adults are on DIA. I exchanged info with a girl, she just had one weird angle picture so it wasn't exactly easy to get a good look at her but her messages were nice with good English. I add her on Facebook and her birthday is 1996. Fail.

Filipinas don't like suggestive or sexual conversations unless they feel very comfortable with you, thats been my experience. Some of the filipinas I chatted with were rather suspicious of my intentions and I had to assure them I was sincere.

This seems to be a rather simpler but smaller site compared to other dating sites. But they do have a pretty decent number of members. I haven't heard them banning anyone for sending messages.

Wow. I've been writing a lot of Chinese women on DateinAsia lately, and have noticed some differences compared to Filipinas.

- There is a much higher percentage of attractive Chinese women on that site than there are Filipinas.
- The Chinese women that have written me back seem a lot more intelligent and organized than Filipinas. If I write a letter with several questions for instance, they will address them all, whereas a Filipina will usually only answer one question out of multiple questions per email, so that I have to repeat them in my next email. Also, they know how to divide their letter into paragraphs to make it more readable, whereas Filipinas lump all their sentences into one short paragraph. (Filipinas usually write very short emails) So the Chinese women seem more neat and organized.
- The Chinese women will ask me questions too, after answering mine. Filipinas don't ask many questions in their letters.
- More Chinese women have written me back than Taiwanese women.
- Some Chinese women even prefer ABC's. For example:

Definitely good signs. I chatted briefly with one on QQ earlier, and she seemed very direct and to the point, blurting out whatever was on her mind. Awesome! I guess China is the answer to my oriental fetish then.

There's probably much more Chinese women who do this than Filipinas and Thais even. A good way to filter them out is to let them up front that you will be residing in Taiwan permanently. Then see how they react to you letting them know that you won't be their one way ticket to America-land.

Don't some of them want to go to Taiwan too? Even if they are green card hunters, they are still a lot more intelligent nevertheless. So far, none of them have asked me if I'm going back to America or where I'm living now.
