Here is an interesting episode of "Millionaire Matchmaker." This is the first episode from last season, where they went to New York to do the entire season. In this episode, a 26 year old woman who is a single mother from New York, looks for her "perfect man" even though this woman is not attractive, she has a laundry list of things she wants in a man! The first video starts after about 20 seconds.

As Patty said, its likely she was spoiled as a child, so as an adult she believe because she has money, she deserves the best even if her nose is the first thing people notice about her and that isn't a good thing...

Plus she has a child? Its a good thing she likes older men, cause almost NO guy under 30 would even bother, unless he was all about HER money...

New York is one of the WORST dating environments I have heard from several sources. The women out number the men but that doesn't seem to result in a better dating scene. New York, like LA is one of those places that are magical, people come to these cites to succeed, to be somebody, all that jazz. On top of that, its the largest city in terms of population, so you have a large base of local talent, imports are competing with and that includes women from across the country and across the Atlantic...

As Patty once said, most of the women coming to her in NYC want to be married, but when Patty suggest that her clients and those from the seminars go where the men are (the suburbs) they don't want to go.

I like the show because Patty is frank, even if she's sort of a hypocrite for not listening to her own advice especially when it came to the 5 years she wasted on a guy she didn't marry and may have lost the chance to have children.

But in this season (back in LA) she met somebody, so we'll see what happens. Not sure when that arch of the series starts.

One of the shows on TV that I actually like and watch. Patti is usually spot on. You would think if you can't get a man, you would lower your standards, not raise them LMAO@Gonzo.
