I was wondering if any guys here had any success picking up women in bars and clubs in the US. Day game doesn't work in America, only place you can meet women is bars and clubs. The thing I hate about them is that the music is loud, it's crowded and usually men outnumber women.

I don't recommend the bar scene. If the men outnumber the women, that means the place is full of unavailable women, since most of them are with other men. In the US, IMO the best you can hope for is hitting up classified ad sites and getting escorts or entitled freaks. Trying to get women here otherwise is like hunting for treasure... except that's easier than finding available women that are worth keeping.

If success is defined by sex then yes. To do so you have be in the top 30% of the men around you, assertive and have some cash to blow. You can not be shy or play coy. Some of the best pulls were when dancing with a girl that seems into you and she is close is to just kiss her. If there is sexual tention you will feel it. If it dosnt work move on, eather way she will remember and respect your efforts. That the way it rolls with country girls, I don't know about the city girls...

No, because I felt completely out of my element. Bars and me are like oil and water -- they don't mix. Besides, drunks scare the shit out me. I have bad memories of those places because of my cousin, who I used to be close to, became an angry and aggressive alcoholic.

Everyone my age I know have basically stopped going to bars because the cattiness and obnoxiousness of young guys has got extreme. I’m really glad I lived in the 1980s when girlss were friendly and wanted sex with average guys. Girls within five secounds of seeing you know if they are going to sleep with you or not. We shoot ourselves in the foot more often then by not recognizing one that has made the choice to do so. Any self deprivation or social code breaking will shoot you strait out of the saddle. As for the other guys there, f**k them, your there for the girls and if you keep that mind set your golden. I'm just going to post it here rather then make a post about it, but if you guys want to meet HOT YOUNG girls in the US, get a job at a busy gym as a front desk receptionist.

I use to work this job while I was in collage (24 hour fitness) and had no idea that it put me in contact with so many women over, and over, and over again.

How it works is that you're able to stand in one place and have all the hot girls come to you as they give you their card to swipe in. What you then do (when nobody else is around) is FLIRT with the girls who smile and have eyes that linger a bit longer at you when they are coming or going.

The biggest trick about this is that you don't look desperate (like in a bar) because you're using your job as a undercover approach to hit on women.

I have heard this before as well, this is why first impressions are so important.

What I don't understand, is why do woman give out their phone number to guys, then when the guy calls them back, they never answer their phone or if they do answer their phone, they refuse to even go out on one date with the guy, even if they like him.

This must be some kind of game that American women play with men. I don't think foreign women do that kind of stuff to men.

Well as I see it all comes down to options. If an AW has a waist and dosnt break a mirror by looking at it she is in high demand. Even if there is initial interest and numbers are exchanged it is so easy for them to loose track and forget a guy in the mix. Given this and a self destructive nature of picking loosers being a nice guy and not taking advantage of them you will loose your window. Since there is so much competition the windows are small and not open long. The reason I say nice guy is cause we are the only ones that seem to have any trouble with this, assholes an douche bags thrive.

I'm coming late to this thread, but I'll throw my two cents in anyway. Bars are a waste of time for me, because:

a) I don't drink, and don't like associating with drunks or people who are well on their way to getting half-cut.

b) I have a hearing impairment (partially ameliorated with a hearing aid) that makes it tough to communicate in noisy situations.

c) I'm too ugly to even have a hope in hell in the ultra-competitive and generally cruel environment that bars are.

Wow, you're like my twin!

1) I do drink but maybe one beer every month or two. And really dislike being around drunk people.

2) I've had tinitus in my right ear since I was 18. Hard to hear in noisy environments (hearing aids don't help me)

3) I don't know that I'm ugly but I am short and bald so yeah I have no chance in a bar.
