That was mildly entertaining. Justice Alito asked a valid question. The HuffPost reporter is a complete moron. The gay professor has it mostly right but completely misses the concept of family in Athens which was highly valued. In comparison to the ancient Athenians, modern Americans are just morons whose talk has about as much value as the barking of a dog. Even Justice Alito, the best of this bunch, misses the point. Athenians recognized that the purpose of marriage is family, which means children, and that this is something of high value that cannot be produced by a homosexual couple.

First off, it seems like it was the aristocracy that did all the homosexuality. It wasn't necessarily as broad a trait as "Ancient Greece." Also, the homosexuality was frequently with young boys- are they applauding that? Or trying to make it more easily accomplished?
