A record setting blizzard hit New England over the past two days dumping up to 40 inches of snow. Boston received 25 inches of snow, Worcester in Massachusetts got 28.5 inches. Milford Connecticut received 38 inches and Shelton Conneticut received 40 inches of snow!
Wind gusts up to 70 miles an hour were recorded in Boston. Thunder and lighting were reported throughout New England during the blizzard along with very heavy snow accumulating up to 4 inches an hour!
