Wow! The pope made comments today that align with our views

Three quotes from the pope that align with what Winston and I have been saying about American culture. I especially agree with # 3 though.

1) "In the homily of the Mass, the pope urged listeners to "combat the allure of a materialism that stifles authentic spiritual and cultural values and the spirit of unbridled competition which generates selfishness and strife".

Quotes from happier abroad and global dating solution :

“Americans are raised with a COMPETITIVE mindset where they see others as potential enemies to watch out for. Competition divides people and is unhealthy in the long run. After all, if your heart and your liver competed with each other, would that be good for your body and health? Thus Americans don't really trust other people, and they feel all alone because there is no one for them to lean on. They have NO EMOTIONAL SUPPORT from others, and so they stand alone, which WEAKENS and FRAGMENTS them psychologicallyâ€￾ (Winston Wu)

"In the workplace, in friendships, even in motherhood, the pervading culture seems to have become one of competitiveness, superiority and one-upmanship." (Jean Twenge Generation me)

2) He said they should see their faith as an "antidote to the spirit of despair that seems to grow like a cancer in societies which are outwardly affluent, yet often experience inner sadness and emptiness".

Quotes from happier abroad and global dating solution

"When Mother Teresa visited America, she said we are a poor nation overall in a spiritual sense. America's poverty, she said, is worse than that of India's, for it is that of a terrible loneliness that come from wanting the wrong things." (Morris Berman Dark Ages America pg 237)

"The United States is like Rome in the later stages of the empire: a similarly souless, politically corrupt, everybody-for-himself civilization." (Morris Berman Dark Ages America pg 77).

"It seems clear enough that when you put money (or commodities) at the center of culture, you finally don't have a culture. Indeed, the Germans have a word to describe this type of situation: sinnentleert ("devoid of meaning"). America can strut and puff all it wants, but on some level, all of us know this (it struts and puffs because it is empty.) After all, Rome may have looked invincible in, say, A.. 300, but history proved otherwise."(Morris Berman Dark Ages America pg 77)

3)Last year, in the first major written work of his papacy, Francis, the first non-European pontiff in 1,300 years, attacked unfettered capitalism as "a new tyranny," urging global leaders to fight poverty and growing inequality.

Generally so. In most countries, the more catholic it is, the more corrupt it is...

Maybe so, but the Zionist-freemason denomination of corruption, greed and materialism that is in full force in the Anglo world isn't any better.

Are you sure you're not pointing to those "Catholic countries" (the Phils and all of Latin America) when you in fact mean "ex-Spaniard/Portugues colonies"? I would personally put the majority of the blame on the legacy of the colonial systems, some more brutal than others. Second-world Commonwealth countries, ex British colonies, are in the same odious boat in terms of political corruption.

They are part of the same cabal. The Catholic Church seems to have taken the part of the Freemasons as mentioned in the Protocols. In Australia, if there is a white guy in the pigs or the military or other guvmint service, there is about a 90% chance he is Catholic. In sane societies, the Catholics would be ruthlessly suppressed.

The other reasons are Islam and the influence of US-feminism. Both of them are for sure not better than Catholicism.

If I had the choice between a Catholic Filipina, a Muslim Filipina or a Philippine feminist, I would choose the Catholic Filipina.
