Of course, in the long run, emotional appeals don't work, because people get tired of them and start to face reality. This is why Europe is abandoning Ukraine: they are tired of Zelensky's lying and emotional arguments and are finally starting to face reality instead of acting like hysterical women. USA already faced reality and is trying to figure out how to dump Ukraine without losing face.

Reagan convinced people he was a great President, meanwhile he set the USA on the path of deindustrialization and destruction of the middle class and other bad policies which are finally bearing their disastrous fruit. Trump is a television professional, so effectively an actor, and will further ruin the USA. Schwarzenegger did nothing much. Newsom is another photogenic California politician who has done nothing much.
