I do not have a son, but I have 2 adult daughters who are married in Japan, one with a pure Japanese man, the other one with a Japanese-American, both parents are of Japanese origin. Both of my daughters are holding Japanese citizenship.

There are plenty of pictures of this woman, Megan Markle on the internet, and in all of them her skin color appears to be somehow brownish, but not enough to qualify as a black woman. Yes, some pictures might be photoshopped, but surely not all of them.
Her face is not a face of a typical black woman either. She is of mixed race, her appearance is more pointing to a white woman and not to a black woman.

I find nothing really special with this woman and I also did not know anything about her until recently. Not more than barely average looks, at least outside of the USA. She is the typical girl worried about being outsourced, age 35, feminist activist, actress... looking desperately for a lucrative marriage/divorce.

However I do not consider her to be a black woman. A black woman looks differently, just my opinion. She is not really white either, but more white than black I would say.
