Explosion At Boston Marathon
Explosion At Boston Marathon
I feel bad for the runner who was knocked over right before the finish line, he ran 26 miles for nothing.

Does anyone notice that when a few Americans die in a bomb blast, all hell breaks loose but meanwhile Americans and other anglo white people kill many people a day abroad, and hardly anyone notices or cares. People that kill Americans are called terrorists, but Americans killing people abroad are called liberators. Why are some nationalities lives worth more than others? Total double standards and BS. Americans are like Feminists, they are allowed to do whatever they want to others, but if someone tries that with them watch out, they will do whatever it takes to take them out. It's a 1 way street.
Here's the latest conspiracy theory surrounding the incident.

me and my friends were talking about hanging out in Boston it's close by to where we live, interesting.
I agree, we kill a few thousand unborn kids a day, countless child soldiers die in Africa and suffer as we speak not to mention Korea.....but oh no....a few less fat people at a star bucks in boston and we might just have the leverage it takes to take away even more freedoms from the blind mammal called human.
hearing my buddys wife complain about terrorism and how it's pointless and why hurt people for no reason ect makes me sick, first of all....no one even knows if it's a terrorist "missions successful brain washing" second, if you take away the ideal of the usa being your country....do you care that someone attacked it?
I don't, I'm of the opinion one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, however, I think if terrorists want to attack they need to attack military and government, if they did that I'd have respect for them, but you keep blowing up random people and it's just pointless and fuels the political target over your home country.
And once again, I don't even think it was "terrorism"

My heart goes out for the vicitims... but the country is the real victim as this will surely be another excuse to increasing our police state and prop up the war machine. Fighting that bogey man "terrorism"
But its completely ok for us to bomb countries we are not at war with like pakistan and send others back to the 4th world, I can speak to this as I have served in in Iraq

Another excuse to wage war on whoever US blames

Maybe US will find out North Korea is behind the attack, time to start another war, which is the only thing the US is good for nowadays.
In case its a legit terrorist act, the puppet masters of the US will surely find a way to use it against its own citizens.
I am so glad my grandparents chose to remain filipinos, at least my country is wayyyy better off than the US as of now and the future.
Spending some time in the USA, especially away from the East and West coast areas, will give you a more balanced view of things.
I have sold my house in Arizona, and I am in the process of buying a small farm in Oregon as my "survivalist" hideout within the USA. It offers a very clean environment, millions of acres of quite pristine forest nearby, rule of law, and a local government that is not corrupt. You are not likely to end up dead for pissing off a local politician as happens here quite often. If you are poor, you will not likely be murdered if you refuse to sell your land to a local rich man at his price (As happened here this year near me and happens often in similar cases throughout the Philippines. A prominent Pinoy family- you would recognize them at once- streets are named after them, has a lot of land in this area, and murder has always been part of their management practice as needed. They call it salvaging.)
My father in law does ok as a mining engineer here in Mindanao, but he wants to come to Chile with me to see how he would feel about working and living there. I am establishing my residency in Chile starting the end of the year, though I will still be spending much of my time in the Philippines.
As my father-n-law agrees, if the US is no longer powerful, Pinoys better learn to speak Chinese to serve their new masters, and it won't be pretty. Maybe the Gabriela types will be pleased...LOL

Good post, Dowd! I enjoyed reading what you had to say. Will N. There are articles I've found showing how AW are selfishly trying to gain publicity from what happened during the race, even though they finished long before the explosion(s) took place.
Poor Article: (specifically about her)
http://www.abc2news.com/dpp/news/region ... -explosion
Why do we need to know about her opinion (specifically) about the explosion during the race? She finished just under 3 hours while the fastest tier of women ran in the 2:20's. She also suffered no injuries. We should have coverage about the race from race directors, news agencies and police forces, not from several American women who have an intention of advertising themselves.
Good Article: (about runners from the state of Maryland)
http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryla ... 2410.story
Edit: Made a typo.

One thing I've never seen the point of is running. Ask Dr's about it and they will not recommend it, especially marathons. They are bad for your joints, hips, bones, muscles and your heart. Ask a runner why they run all the time and they won't usually have an answer, so they will make up some nonsense like it being healthy. Then when you point out that it is not healthy and they will say they do it to lose weight, something it also doesn't do. Why don't you just eat less instead of running?
Marathons are very bad for you. Look at the legend of the original Marathon runner, the poor Greek guy Pheidippides that ran the 42 km from the Town of Marathon in Greece to Athens to announce the Victory over Persians in 490 BC and then dropped dead from exhaustion. Whether the story is true or not no one will know.

Ginger is right: The U.S. is nuts, and if I had any children or a wife, I would tell them to leave the U.S. for another country. BTW, this was a false flag operation. You want proof:

This is what I thought about when I heard the attack. Murakami's my favorite author, but he mostly writes novels. His most famous ones are Norwegian Wood and The Wind Up Bird Chronicle. This is his only memoir and he talks about how training for marathons helps him gain the energy to write every day. He even describes running from Athens to Marathon (taking the route backwards) and competing in the Boston Marathon, which he says he did six times when the book was written. Yes, he nearly collapses in the Greek run. Another non-fiction book of his is about the sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway in 95. His latest novel is supposedly inspired by the Japanese nuclear disaster. So the bombing might just be the subject of his next book.An intimate look at writing, running, and the incredible way they intersect, from the incomparable, bestselling author Haruki Murakami. While simply training for New York City Marathon would be enough for most people, Haruki Murakami's decided to write about it as well. The result is a beautiful memoir about his intertwined obsessions with running and writing, full of vivid memories and insights, including the eureka moment when he decided to become a writer. By turns funny and sobering, playful and philosophical, What I Talk About When I Talk About Running is rich and revelatory, both for fans of this masterful yet guardedly private writer and for the exploding population of athletes who find similar satisfaction in athletic pursuit.
Very true. Running long distances also causes your all of your hormone levels to crash where as sprinting causes your hormone levels to increase. Will N. Ah...so you gave Rock a schooling on the ways of "Salvaging"? LOL...got him quaking now...hahaGinger wrote:Hi, I did not mean to sound so anti-US, just that I'm on tin foil hat mode haha. About the Philippines, true, the things you mentioned do occur but I happened to be blessed with a good surname so maybe that is why I haven't experienced being treated like a pawn. Also, familial influence is more of a provincial thing, not so much in the capital. Btw, having a good solid surname can also mean people think you are a spoiled princess and therefore does not need an scholarship, so it can be detrimental too, its why I prefer to go solo and avoid nepotism and its sisters.
Well, if China does become an empire again, I can pass off as chinese in looks, and I'm trying to learn mandarin (just started yesterday), for some reason spanish and korean seems easier for my tongue so maybe I will just pretend to be a mute chinese in case we get invaded by China haha.
Oh, Rock thinks I will put his life in danger and that he must leave the country because I might get him salvaged, really, its not that bad all over the country, only on some areas of Mindanao and other places which still operates on its own laws.
